Pretty thin cardboard.
The cardboard is a lot thinner than I anticipated and it came with a pretty major dent. I was still able to use it but I feel like I got jipped due to the damage.

Hacks that work
Saw the revised as a drapery hack and they worked great. Keeps the rings on the drapes uniformly separated as if a professional had hung them.
