Poppstar 2x Toslink Splitter (1x input female to 2x outputs female), coupler/switch/optical splitter for Toslink cable, fibre optic cable, S/PDIF cable

The spitters worked with my older Samsung TV but not my 2019 LG OLED TV. Wider research on Optical signals reveals frustratingly inconsistent experiences. Also the shape & alignment quality of many aftermarket Toslink plugs is appalling which adds to the frustration.

Worked ok to extend the optical connection however after a few weeks, when disconnecting the inserted cable, the centre of this connecter came out and was firmly attached to the pin of the cable.

Not impressed with these, neither of them seemed to work with my setup, I was trying to split one into 2 bit one of the outputs would never seem to work. I'm not sure of it was entirely the fault of these, but the optical cables and devices worked fine without them.

Got two in the packet. At first they seemed good quality.Then I thought the socket end was too shallow. You need to push the cable in really hard.The first one didn't work. Happily, the second one does work and luckily I only need one.This is a case of BOGOTDW. (Buy One and Get One that doesn't work)

I've used two sets of these to shorten overly long optical cables. Care is required trimming the cable sheath and after that, these connectors are easy to fit.Delivery was very quick too!.

These Poppstar 2x 90° angled Toslink Coupler are brilliant. I have very little space between the tv and the wall with the Poppstar 2x 90° angled Toslink Coupler that was no longer a problem and the ability to swivel was really useful.

Bit frustrating when trying differing connections that they fell to bits & were then insecure when reassembled, works as long as not disturbed 😧

My tv is now flush against the wall! Thank you
