Pixel 2 XL Mic repair
Worked perfectly. I bought this to replace the handset microphone. Nobody could any longer hear me when I answered the phone unless I switched to speaker phone. This fixed the problem. Unfortunately two things happened while performing this replacement. The coaxial cable had a badly assembled connector and it came apart leaving me with one speaker not working. This is purely the fault of OEM who assembled this phone for Google. Other people have had the same problem. The second problem I had was I overheated the display trying to loosen up the glue. Now the right side of the phone display looks perfect when you turn it on but dintrites quickly grow from the edge of the screen each time making half the screen unusable. The Pixel 2XL screen is the most expensive of all the Pixel phones at $200 to replace.
