A great solution for a budget Ryzen gaming PC!
This is not a bad motherboard for those on a tight budget and it has all the features that mattered to me, including M.2 nvme support, DDR4-3200 support, and updated Ryzen 3000 support. I bought this to install a Ryzen 5 1600AF and it worked right out of the box, which I admit was a worry when I read some other reviews. It shipped with P2.00 BIOS if that helps and then I flashed it to P3.70. It doesn't support overclocking which I didn't know beforehand but honestly I wasn't trying to build a benchmark beast so I'm not gonna gripe about it. It does let me OC my memory which was 3000mhz and I have it running at 3200mhz which I heard does help out Ryzen CPUs. So far in all my tests it has proved to be a rock solid board and hasn't given me any issues. It powered on and booted successfully on first try. I had everything temporarily installed just to make sure everything worked and it did. So great job ASRock! Obviously there's nothing too fancy here. All in all I really can't complain as this motherboard does the job quite well and I'm very happy with it. I'm a long time PC builder and I have to say that things really have gotten better. One of the things I always liked about building gaming PCs is that you can design a PC around just about any budget. For the price I paid all-in I have a GREAT gaming PC that hopefully I will get years of use like my last build that lasted 7 years and is still worth holding onto for other chores. ***Important note, this motherboard is REV 4.0 so check on that before flashing as I almost got confused looking for the BIOS for the REV 1 model***

Good Value for a budget gaming system
I am a computer technician with 20+ years of experience and build all types of computers with my current focus on gaming machines. Asrock builds solid "no frills" motherboards. I installed this board in my personal gaming computer for testing along with a Ryzen 3600 CPU (this board will need the BIOS updated with a 2nd or 1rst gen Ryzen CPU to support the Ryzen 3000 series). Anyway, it is performing very well with a GeForce RTX 2070 Super video card and 16gb of Crucial Ballistix DDR 4 3200 RAM: My conclusion is this board would be great for a budget gaming machine or general purpose computer: If you put at least 16gb of RAM on it, it should be fine for most applications for at least a couple of years or more. Having said all of this, for $20 more, you can get an Asrock B450M Pro 4 motherboard that has 4 DIMM slots and overclocking ability. I hope this review helps anyone considering this board make a decision but I would not hesitate to buy these for general purpose or budget gaming systems...

Solid board
Motherboard works great. I have built 3 computers with this board and all 3 work well. The seller even upgraded us to the B450 board at no charge ... I think maybe the A320 board was out of stock. I do recommend making sure you connect the 4 pin connector on the motherboard.... mine would not post at all until I connected the 4 pin

Basic Board Does what it needs to
Helpful notes m.2 slot is compatible with nand sata and nvme. Works with newer 2000 ryzen cpu's out of the box, but 3000 will need a bios update. pros Comes with two sata cables one angled and one strait. audio chip is a decent chip Layout is fairly good has more than two sata ports fan headers are in good spots cons The board is short for micro atx and only has 2 slots Limited number of usb ports no type c which could be a problem if your already using the one other pcie slot for a wifi network card Verdict It is a good board for its price, but will have problems with upgrades in the future because of its limited power delivery and pcie slots. A better choice would be the Asrock b450 pro 4 is a much better board for 30 to 20 dollars more.

Great motherboard for the price.
I snagged one of the Ryzen 1600 AF chips for 85 bucks here on Amazon and got this board to go with . It worked flawlessly out of the box with no updates or issues. (board came with P3.30 BIOS, btw) Highly recommend if you are not an overclocker like myself and just need something to get the job done. This is it.

DOA, but amazing tech support. Edit: Another DOA
The item had arrived in a nice and packaged manner. However, the motherboard was sadly dead on arrival. This is because I tried many methods such as clearing cmos, force starting, but it still would not post. The gpu and cpu were brand new along with the ram. So I can say say that it worked in the older motherboard that I had. But this motherboard did not work as the usb plugs and the monitor signal did not connect. The tech support was pretty awesome since I was able to get a new one right away and the arrival had shortened by 2 weeks. I was going to give it a 2 or a 1 star, but because of their tech support, it has risen to a 3 star. New update: The second motherboard arrived and its DOA again. Hate this god damn company that resells dead motherboards. Do not buy this product. First time this has happened to me. I would recommend going to gigabyte to buy a motherboard from them.

BUYERS BEWARE- THIS MOBO CAN'T OC
I'm building a budget sub $400 pc for my love one and if you are interested in overclocking with a ryzen cpu its better get an ASrock B450 motherboard or other B450's. It sucks that you spend on something that is not future proof in the long run. Otherwise than that its a great board for those who are not considering in overclocking their cpu however you are wasting 10-15 percent more performance. I assure you just spend $10 more for a different mobo like the ASrock B450m HDV R4 and you are set for 2020.
