I just received these speaker today, I also ordered after market red wolf connections, so when the speakers arrived it was literally plug and play, they fit on my dash. Oh migosh the difference those speaker make is amazing, I can not even hear the stock speakers in the front door now. I will be ordering the 6 by 8 pioneer speakers now to replace the stock spears. 5 stars top quality, try them you will not regret, it will make you want to go for a ride so you can play your music 🎶

Awesome sound quality and brightness. Nice looking and good value. I would take these over any other in this price range. I got silly and got ones from kicker, those let me down. Had to come here and share my feeling on how good these are.

I've long since upgrade the sound system on my 2006 PT Cruiser. Did a 6x9 conversion all round, have 2 amps and a sub. Never got around to doing the tweeters. But I soon tired of the horrific high pitch from the stock pieces of junk when the volume was cranked. No surprise when I examined my tweeters how poor of a condition they were in. I gently touched the cone, and it cracked like old paint. Not good. I pulled the stock ones, and used a 9v battery to determine the positive and negative poles on the stock wire connector. (You can use a 9v square battery on the contacts of a speaker to determine polarity - If the cone pushes out, you have the correct orientation. If it goes down, flip your polarity). Once I had this figured out, I wired in an additional capacitor. My amp pushes out a good deal of power, and without reducing the bass it would tear these to pieces. I will link what I used below. Once wiring and fitting was complete, I had to adjust my Equalizer due to the change in frequency at the front end. But once I dialled it in, it sounds amazing. Significantly better than the awful sound quality from before. And it's a little louder, and these will be more durable long term. I did not have to trim or cut up my dash, they just fitted. I got rid of the star screws my dash came with, and used the supplied cross screws from this kit to make things easier. If you're considering replacing your dash speakers, you should buy these. If you are replacing dash TWEETERS, you WILL NEED a capacitor or you will trash your speakers. I needed to replace the front speakers in my 1985 Toyota Supra. I had previously replaced the OEM ones many years ago with what were a really great set of Polk speakers, but the Polks had given up the ghost (cones literally fell apart from age). I tested a new set of Clarion SRG921C speakers bought at Best Buy along with these Pioneers. The Clarions had a little more and "crisper" high end (but they also seemed more "tinny" or "brassy"), and had good mid-range, but their bass was absolutely non-existent. These Pioneers had almost as much high end without sounding "tinny", had just as much mid-range, and had FAR more bass than the Clarions, although still not as much or as clear bass as the old Polks did. I wish things were still like the old days where you could go into the audio electronics department of a store and switch the same stereo system to different speakers to quickly check/test them out side by side, but apparently those days are gone. I would like to have been able to try out some of the higher-dollar 3 1/2 -inch speakers to see if they would put out more and better bass than these Pioneers so as to be worth the extra expense. However, in the absence of that ability, at about $40 a pair these Pioneers put out pretty good sound for a very reasonable price. Hopefully this review will be helpful to others.

for the center channel on a '18 Ford Edge. Upgraded the factory sound and my Kappas in the doors were butchering the high end. I find tweeter separates too harsh for my ears so this single center channel speaker helps with the highs so I can remove them from the door speakers.

So, I have a 2019 RAM 1500 Big Horn "Classic" crew cab, and I knew instantly that the factory "Paper" speakers were going to come out of it. They sound so muffled with no life in them at all. I had already replaced the 4 door speakers with Pioneer TS-G690 6x9 speakers that fit perfectly in the doors with no modifications at all. Those speakers sound great BTW, but now it was time to upgrade the two 3.5" dash speakers. I like to keep the same brand speakers all around a vehicle if at all possible. I found these Pioneer TS-A878 3.5" speakers right here on Amazon for a great price! Amazon said they wouldn't fit my truck, but oh how wrong they were. I took the chance and bought them. They went right into the factory speaker hole and the factory screw holes lined right up with these speakers! They sound so good with the Pioneer 6x9's in the doors! I highly suggest using metra speaker wiring harnesses to plug right into you factory speaker plug. The Metra number is 72-7902. I know for a fact you can get that harness at Crutchfield.com if you can't find it on Amazon. If you are looking to upgrade your factory speakers on a Ram truck from 2012 up to the 2019 "Classic" these Pioneer 3.5's and the Pioneer 6x9's are a GREAT choice! I'd also like to add that I did install 600Hz bass blockers with these speakers as well. You don't want a lot of bass going to a speaker this size.

This will fit a 2021 Ford F150 Center, Dash speaker. A great upgrade sounds great. The magnet is 10 times bigger than the old factory speaker.

No trimming, good fit in the headrests of a 1990 Miata. Miles above the factory paper speakers. Not much in the realm for base, but the high's and mid's make the sound from the only two door speakers come alive. Can hear them very well with the top down, still clear. Easy to install.

These are a very good speaker for the cost. Excellent stock replacement for an 87 Buick Regal, they fit perfectly in the dash top.
