Yamasa Regular Soy Sauce in Tin Can, 1 Gallon / 128 fl oz, (Pack of 1)

FIRST TIME USE OF THIS PRODUCT WAS IN 1983-84. THIS IS THE BEST TASTING SOY SAUCE ON THE MARKET TODAY. I HAVE USED THIS PARTICULAR ONE SINCE MY INITIAL INTRODUCTION TO IT AND HAVE EVEN USED THE LOW-SALT ONE THAT IS JUST AS GOOD. I USED TO PUT DRIED SHRIMP INTO IT FOR ADDED FLAVOR OR TO CUT ANY EXCESS SALT THAT I THOUGHT WOULD BE IN IT, BUT I HAVEN'T DONE THAT IN YEARS. THIS SOY IS THE REAL DEAL. UPSET THAT KIKKOMAN CAN HAVE SUCH A MONOPOLY OF THIS PRODUCT ON STORE SHELVES. MY OPINION, ONCE YOU'VE TRIED THIS ONE, OTHERS WILL TASTE LIKE SALTY FLAVERED WATER. TRUE PRODUCT OF JAPAN. I WILL CONTINUE TO PURCHASE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.

I was introduced to Yamasa soy sauce at a favorite Vietnamese and Thai restaurant, and searched online for it - disappointed to find how expensive it is to buy per small bottle. This gallon container was a fantastic bargain, especially given how much I make stir fries. Yamasa soy sauce is unbelievable great tasting -- WAY better than popular store brands I've been used to. Also, I prefer the full salt version of this to the lower sodium... I realize the latter is probably healthier; but the fuller, more complex flavor of the original is impossible to beat. Excellent flavor. Excellent soy sauce. I use it almost every day. I bought a spray bottle for smooth, even distribution; Highly recommend doing that!!

So far this is the best tasting soy sauce ever. Sprinkle it over your favorite meal and you will not be disappointed.

Overall, I like it better than Kikkoman.

This is the best soy sauce I have ever tasted. It is the real thing, and it is really good. Using the best makes a difference in all those dishes with a splash of soy sauce.

This is just my favorite soy sauce. It has a rich and smooth flavor without feeling like it's loaded with sodium.
