Freeda Vitamin D2

These vitamins were prescribed by my doctor, and they’ve been working well for my specific needs. I’ve had no issues with them—they’re easy to take and seem to be doing their job. Happy with the quality and results so far.

These are small so can swallow easily and they are the same mg. of the doctors prescribed. Easy to use. They were half the price.

Update Jan 2026– set this aside for awhile, then retried without antacids. Works great. Thank You. Raised to five stars. Original review — Hoped to love this vitamin D — vegan, affordable on a tight budget, medium dose, great customer service that answered important questions, and the ingredients fit between a bunch of allergies (alpha-gal even to carrageenan and red seaweed-algae, and other sources of vitamin D). But we arent getting anything out of this after about a week of daily dosing. Could be because there isnt any vitamin D. But probably because we are taking antacids, and the tablets are too hard for us to digest and absorb with less stomach acid. So we will hold onto these and go back to Real Mushrooms, which are more expensive and lower dose, but more effective, maybe because easier for us to digest and absorb with less stomach acid. Maybe this brand will offer capsules some day.

D2 is hard to find... and if you are allergic to lanolin then you are allergic to D3 b/c it is made from the lanolin in sheep wool... and IF you are also allergic to rice flour which makes me so stuffed up its hard to breath and is added as filler to lots of supplements including D2 by other manufacturers.... this product is a blessing.. really easy to swallow and works well ... Can take multiple tabs at one time even with trouble taking most other pills .. these are very easy to swallow Take with Vit A and zinc to increase absorption of vit d something i did not always know to do. Tried Cod liver oil but they add D3 and A to standardize sadly .. so there is the allergy problem all over again .. itches and heart racing from Vit D3 is not funny esp since it takes 3 months for it to get out of the system and you think its a heart problem cause it won't slow down ... never thought it could be from D3 /LANOLIN CONNECTION allergy response. They need to put a warning on Vit D3 labels that are made from lanolin .. and though they make d3 from lichen moss and mushrooms not everyone can take those products either or do well on them with disgestive issues often. .. so THANKFUL FOR FREEDA VITAMIN D2
