First, this is an unsolicited review. I hate writing these things. But this product merits recognition. The bike stand was perfect. I bought one of similar design many years ago and needed a second one. Here is what is important to know about this design: Its meant to be up against a wall. It is not meant to stand on its own reliably. Take this into account. Now about this particular product: Its fantastic. It assembles well. Things go together easily but not loose enough to be sloppy. Great value. If you are in the market for a a bike storage solution that will be up against a wall do not hesitate to get this one.

Overall good construction. One issue is the hooks that hold the bike frame are relatively thin and soft steel. It bent under the weight of the bike and dropped it... I needed to adjust it for a firmer grip. Now appears ok.

Note: This is a Gravity Rack so it won't be free standing without at least one bike on it. The weight of the bike makes this stand by itself unless you lean it against a wall. Works fine for mens bike or certain female bikes, depends on the frame. Can also use the rack to do some basic maintenance on the chain and wheels.

This bike rack is advertised and displayed for sale as a stand alone stable bicycle rack that your can store anywhere. It, however, does not stand freely. It requires that you bolt it to a wall. This defeats the purpose of storing the rack anywhere. I have an expensive Cannondale racing bike. I would not store my expensive bicycle on a cheap unstable rack such as this. I contacted the seller for a refund.

Great space saver in my garage. And very stable with both bike on rake. It remains stable even with just the top bike on rake.

This stand -I have 2 of them- does work free standing. I got a bit paranoid at first thinking it would just collapse, but neither have, and I put a bike on and forget about it. Before bikes are stored it does feel rickety and a bit unstable. With bikes that goes away. It is easy to assemble. You do not need to use the supplied bolt to attach it to a stud, but if you do stability goes way up.

Super cheap hooks to hold the bikes that bend to easy

I have this stand for a month and it holds two bikes very well, without any issue. There were some average and low feedback that I first hesitate to buy it. I bought it basically due to its promising shape, and low price. I am so glad I did buy it. Supper nice and well made stand, with no problem hanging two bikes.
