Authentic Bosch Heat Gun. Works like charm.
Received authentic piece with Bosch seal intact on the box. Pros - Sturdy and strong construction. - Almost size equal to the saloon dryers - 3 heat settings. 60 - 350 - 450. Perfect for all type of needs. - Excellent hot air blow. Easily shrinks polythene sheets, shrink wraps etc. - Less noise than your hair dryer. - Manual is simple and spot on. Very informative. - Read the manual to understand how to use this heat gun effectively. -Smoke came out a bit, indication that it is an unused piece and expected sign (because of the protective varnish applied inside, over the heating elements). After a few minutes no smoke and no varnish smell. Everything is normal. - If used right, this might serve for ages. Cons -This heat gun draws 1800w of max power. Normal 6A sockets can withstand such power draw but it is recommended that you do not use this continuously for more than 10 mins in a 6A normal socket. Better to plug this in a 20A socket if available.

If the purpose is for resin art then it is really strong and gets hot immediately and could cause terrible smell when you use it with resin. I am not sure how others use it
