Worked on windows 11
Could not get chirp or the program that came with my mobile tyt radios (7900 and 9800) to work. My computer is on windows 11. Ordered this cable on the chance that both my other cables might be bad. This cable worked! Definitely worth a shot if you are having trouble.

Works great and is supported by windows 11. I had an older cable that had a chip that was not supported under windows 11, making it worthless to me. This cable is support and will use Chirp to program your radio without any issues. Great way to program your TYT 9800 and a great price.

Works as it should, price was good!
This has worked without a hitch with my TYT-9800 radio, and the RT Systems programming software. Zero issues, can't do much better than that.

Drivers right; Cable Works; Drivers wrong; No joy.
Seems to work ok once you get the correct drivers. You actually have to install an older driver, even though your computer wizard will tell you that you already have the best drivers for your device. It did not work with my Windows 8 ,and I found the software that came with it to be almost useless. Thanks to the earlier reviewer that gave the following website to go to. The instructions there are understandable. The cable comes with a v3.6 driver, and this website will tell you how to roll it back to a v3.2. Good luck. I was in need of a programming cable for my TYT TH-9800 that was supported by Windows 10. The cable provided straight out of the box works great for Windows XP but not for the newer Windows operating systems. This cable works great in Windows 10. I do use CHIRP for programming my mobile radio and all works fine.
