I think I finally found my holy grail deep conditioner. I am African-American & I have very coarse, kinky & thick natural hair. My hair has been giving me a lot of problems lately, tangling up in knots, feeling very dry & being hard to comb. I bought this conditioner on somewhat of a whim, I saw a Youtube video & the vlogger used this for her blowout. I did some research on it & decided to give it a try. Best hair decision I ever made. I took it to my usual salon to get a deep condition. Because my hair gets so tangled & knotted up the shampoo girl always has to put some conditioner on my hair & comb it out. This usually takes about 15-20 minutes & can be somewhat painful because I am tender-headed. Today we used this conditioner & the comb glided right thru. My hair was detangled in less than five minutes. OMG. That rarely if ever happens to my hair. There is only one conditioner I recall giving me those type of results & it's very hard to get a hold of (it's UANS Therapi Reconstructor in case you were curious). My hair feels so soft, strong & conditioned. Thank you Global Keratin for making such a fabulous product. You got a customer for life!

I have fine hair that became very dry after going blonde, and this mask honestly saved my hair. For best results, I leave it on wet hair for 10–20 minutes. I’ve tried many different brands over the years, and I can confidently say this mask makes my hair noticeably softer and helps eliminate dryness, especially on the ends. It doesn’t leave any heavy or greasy residue and does not affect my blonde color at all. My hair feels healthy, smooth, and well-hydrated after every use.

My hair used to be such a nightmare. It was heavy, thick, rough, and tangled just sitting there! It didn't hold any style, was frizzy and had a ton of flyaways. I went to a salon that introduced me to the original GK keratin treatment. That changed my life and my hair. For a number of reasons I've begun doing my own treatments at home now with the GK The Best, and though it really has solved about 90% of my hair damage, my hair still felt as though it was missing something. I saw that many ladies got a deep conditioner packet with their order of The Best to use right after the keratin treatment. I never got that, but I read the reviews and women were claiming that it made their hair even nicer. On a bunch I ordered the big jar of the stuff. I wasn't able to use it when my hair was still wet from rinsing The Best out, but I used it about a week later at most in a separate treatment all on its own. Oh my goodness. I wound up leaving it in my hair for about 40min total by mistake thanks to putting it into my hair first I the shower, not last, and then did 20min under my heating pad on high, which I put on my head over the shower cap because I don't have a salon heat drying chair like the instructions say to use in order to heat-set it. Still, when I got back into the shower, I rinsed it out then conditioned my hair with my usual detangling conditioner, the keratin infused formula from Suave actually (best conditioner I've ever had for my hair! Even better than GK for detangling and smoothness), brushed it through, and let it sit for a moment. After rising it out, I gently used super soft facial towels of mine to squeeze my hair dry, then blow dried it all. My hair came out nearly salon perfect, just like the first time I got a keratin treatment! Then I flat ironed it, two slow passes per 1.5" section, and finished with my Cake dry conditioner spray. My. Hair...! It's literally mirror shiny, perfectly smooth, perfectly moisturized and is in the best shape I've ever seen it! Even sleeping- though I sleep on a perfectly smooth satin pillowcase only, my hair usually still tangles. Not now. I slept with my hair fully down, unrestrained, and woke up with Disney princess fairytale perfect locks. Not one knot! I plan on keeping to a schedule where to start once each 2 or 3 months I'll do The Best treatment at home for the full hour, rinse it out, then immediately do this for half an hour, each under my heating pad, then rinse and use my conditioner for detangling, then the hot blow dry, flat iron and Cake spray. My hair is flawless right now. And I can do it myself to get it right, and to get the highest benefits possible, without having to pay well over 3x the price for typically a sub par service.

GK hair makes great products. I’ve never used a dud from them. My hair is long(waist length)and wavy. I was devastated in February when medication made my hair fall out in handfuls from the scalp. It also completely changed texture of remaining hair. Now, 6+ months later, thanks to this mask and prenatal vitamins (I’m not pregnant) my hair feels human and growing. I do use it differently than instructions because I needed extreme help. I wash my hair with shampoo. Rinse. Then slather on the mask. Loosely bun it. Put a shower cap on and continue my shower. I keep it in the mask & in cap and wrap towel around it to keep heat in. I keep the mask on as long as possible. At times, I’ve even left it up to 12 hrs. IMO don’t sleep nor comb in it mask/cap because your hair is most fragile when wet. When it’s time to rinse, I rinse with cold/cool water (warmer means opening cuticles of the hair). So, rinse out. Use microfiber towel to lightly blot and then blow dry like normal. This has tremendously improved the health of my hair. Though it will take about 7 years to return to pre-medicated fall out- now- I’m no longer heartbroken. People no longer notice something bad is happening. It looks / feels really good. Prenatal vit also helped feed the scalp and replace nutrients more rapidly and my hair is growing much faster and regrowth where it fell out. (I did make doctor change my meds immediately too). Lesson: GK hair mask is awesome! Demand doctor listens to you. Advocate yourself even if it’s just a side effect. It’s your life/ body. Get a good multivitamin.

I've never used this brand or a keratin product before and am so glad I found this! My hair can be dry and frizzy unless I am very careful about doing lots of moisture masks. I put this on for 20 minutes, rinsed and styled as usual and my hair was shining! I also love how soft and smooth it looks and feels. I will definitely be ordering this stuff again. Very happy with the product!

Used 1x week - leaves hair nourished and manageable and reduces frizz.

I think the original formula years ago was better. It worked fine, but nothing extraordinary. The scent however was amazing.
