I really have nothing but great things to say about this baking spatula. Mind you that this is a cold spatula and I’m not sure about heat resistance. Meaning that it is best used for baking cakes, cookies, etc. and not for stovetop cooking. It states that it will resist heat up to 500° Fahrenheit but I would still use a spatula designed for stovetop cooking rather than using this one. It’s comfortable to hold. The multiple sizes are nice to choose the one that suits you best. I have the 13.5” one which I find is long enough for deeper bowls but not too long as to be cumbersome. The handle is firm and the spatula head and handle are one piece making it easy to clean and easy to use. The price was amazingly inexpensive for such a quality product. I would highly recommend buying these.

I love these Rubbermaid spatulas. The blades are harder than typical silicone spatulas. They are just soft enough to scrape the sides of a bowl cleanly, but hard and strong enough to mix anything, even a firm dough. BEWARE the medium and large sizes are BIG. For typical home use the 9 inch one will be best for mixing and scraping. I bought the 13 inch one because I already have a 9 inch one, but it's really very big, but I can use it for flipping too.

This spatula is great for mixing very stiff cookie doughs or batters that stick to themselves more than to the bowl. The blade is large, sturdy and thick and can stand up to stiff cookie dough. This is not good for scraping soft clingy batter out of bowls because it is too thick and stiff and leaves most of the batter still stuck to the bowl. For that task, I recommend the Rubbermaid Commercial Products High Heat Spoon Scraper Spatula, 13.5-Inch, which has a strong silicone blade that tapers to a thin flexible edge that scrapes batter easily. I bought this spatula mainly for making chiffon cake. Its wide, long blade can fold egg whites into cake batter with efficiency. The blade is roughly 1” wider and longer than a standard sized spatula, and folds meringue into cake batter with fewer stokes than a standard sized spatula. That should translate into less deflation of the meringue. The only problem with this spatula for making chiffon cake is that after folding, you will need another spatula for scraping the bowl (see recommendation above). The handle is sturdy, comfortable in the hand and makes the spatula easy to handle. I recommend this for mixing or for scraping stiff cookie dough or batters that sticks to itself more than to the bowl. It is not for scraping soft clingy batters from a bowl.

Amazing, strong and durable, great for all kitchens

Yes, this spatula is only about $6.00, but there’s no reason to sell something so useless. I mean, you buy this to use it, not to hang on your fridge like your child’s drawings. This is cheap. Really cheap. A spatula is supposed to at least scrape contents out of a bowl, or pot, or whatever. Simple. But this god-awful thing is just wrong. It’s size and dimensions are too big to be of any use, and the material used immediately deteriorates when used even dipped in lukewarm liquid. And the handle immediately stains a gruesome black for no reason. Well, there is a reason. This is crap, and crap does crap things. Perhaps like all items like this, the company thinks that at that low price, people will just throw it out, and since they paid maybe three cents for it out of some third-world sweat shop, with enough people forgetting it, they make a nice profit. Don’t let them get away with it. Let the public know of this scam, and also ask for a refund. Amazon is great with refunds, and with a few clicks on their form, they automatically give it back to you, and you don’t have to return it.

Product is average in quality. Nice starter set. It comes with stickers on the handle and the back of the spatula, that are difficult to remove. Most came off in dishwasher.
