used for laptop charger
Works great for 18v laptop charger. One MUST remember tho.... this thing draws some amperage (says 10AMP @ 18 volts, which would mean 15 amps or so at 12 volt. Make sure your cig lighter plug will handle it IF you decide to just "plug it in" to a cigarette lighter plug.

Works well with my laptop
Heavy duty, works well. Domestic price was 2x that of buying the exact same unit with international shipping, unfortunately. Convenience has a price.

Great for laptop in RV.
It was silly, and lossy, to turn my RV 12V DC into 120V AC to run my laptop power supply that outputs 19V DC. Both the inverter and the power supply get hot. The inverter fan ran. I wired this to a cigarette lighter plug for 12V, and a barrel connector for the 19V. Simpler, smaller, quieter, and less heat than before.
