Outdoor Research Men's Ferrosi Shorts

If you can only take one pair of shorts, take these! Very comfortable, with some stretch. Breaths well and look stylish. I wore off and on for a week camping. I ended up buying the long pants version as well. fit was right on.

Despite the slight problems with these shorts, they're still the best pair I've had. Here's what I like: Very light weight. It's hot and humid. I don't know why anyone would want some big heavy canvas shorts. They dry FAST. Splash from the sink? A little drizzle? It's dry before I get my shoes of and open a beer. Stretchy. This is the best! I want a full range in motion for my limbs. In this case, my legs. I'm not even an outdoorsy athlete, I just want to be able to bend my knees all the way.My legs feel free, and thank me daily. I wear these shorts everyday, by the way. And they're high tech, so they don't need to be washed often..ever? Here's what disappointed: Within the first day I had a snag coming off of my thigh . It hasn't grown or spread, but still. The fabric on the other leg has gotten fuzzy like it's been worn down. I've only had these for a month or two. I wear them a lot, but It's not like I'm climbing frozen waterfalls or camping on the rock face somewhere. I ride my bike here and there, but most of the time I'm standing in front of an easel. That was a let down. I wanted to return them or send them to Outdoor Research HQ, but I didn't want to go without shorts for even a few days. Despite the wear on these that happened quickly, they're still in tact and I'll probably get another pair next summer. I sized up with these as life has taught me too with shorts. Don't do that. They're true to size if not a little big. With the stretch involved, I'd recommend getting your actual waist size or even sizing down.

Large, baggy, boxy

Excellent construction and materials. Very for for purpose. The shorts for comfortable and give room to move without being too tight.

These are real good shorts - very comfortable and they don't hinder movement at all.

Very comfortable and good looking shorts. perfect fit and ease of care. Perfect for a short hike or stroll around the town.

These shorts are fantastic quality as one would expect from this company. Shorts are extremely high quality but do run a little big. My husband wears a 34 short / jeans but this product is cut generously, an inch or 1.5 too big which typically would not matter but since these are flat front, (no pleats) you cannot tighten a belt to hold them up without them bunching and looking poorly with a tucked in shirt. Again, overall quality is fantastic.

Outdoor Research makes really nice products and these shorts didn't disappoint. Very happy with this order, and would order again.
