Got this to build a 20' x 20' room inside a shop space with standard stud framing. I haven't used any other framing hammers so I can't attest to how much more amazing a $100 framing hammer is but for the price of this I think it is amazing value for money. If I had to use this all day every day I can see where spending more might be worth it, really I would just go with a nail gun. Since I don't often do heavy framing work this ends up being amazing value for money and when needed it can do the bigger jobs with some extra sweat equity. Very much something that should be in any homeowners toolbox if you plan on driving any nails smaller than ones for hanging pictures on. This hammer has built my 400sqft shop and is continuing on to build the rest of my shop furniture and storage.

I use this everyday I like the balance an the striking force it gives . I primarily frame so it's a great framer for the every day carpenter!

Love the hammer so far! Curvature in the grip could be a little more to give wrist comfort after extended use. The energy transfer from head to hand is very good. It doesn’t sting on a hard hit like some others.. the weight is nice and the nail setter is deeper and holds better than a lot of other hammers. The Paint shouldn’t be a factor as it should go away if you use it enough. Over all I love it.

Very pleased with this framing hammer! Well made, durable, strong, great grip! Some prefer lighter hammers for framing but I like the 21 Oz.

Awesome hammer. I’ve been using it for building concrete forms and it can smash in 3” duplex nails like nothing. It’s got a fair weight to it which makes it very effective. The hammer pretty much does the work for you all you gotta do is hold onto, and control where the bloody thing strikes. The price vs quality are unbeatable. Yea stilettos are awesome hammers too, but they can be theif bait as well. This hammer, in my opinion does just as good of a job as any premium hammer. If your looking for a good hammer and price this is the one for you. You won’t be disappointed.
