This stuff really works! My eyebrows were thinning and now they’re growing inn and I just ordered another bottle

I had read quite a bit about the the strengthening properties of Black Castor oil, so I was keen to try it. This product does not say ‘black’ castor oil, just organice castor oil. The difference between the two is in the processing- black castor oil is so named because the roasting of the castor bean multiplies its nutrients. Castor oil has the same properties, but it’s color is lighter. I have some hair thinning which I’ve been tackling with supplements (internal) and scalp massage. I have used the castor oil, especially at night, or over the course of days, as a deep conditioning treatment, before doing a cleansing wash. Just in case you’re think ‘ewww! Days?!’, it’s curly girl protocol to NOT wash every day. ;) The consistency of the oil is VERY thick. This is why the dropper, and applicators provided are so great. I apply directly to the scalp with the dropper, and the massage. For application to the rest of my (medium-length) Jaír, I mix it with a thinner carrier oil, like jojoba. I also put a dropper in my hand with my scented body lotion for my winter dry legs. Things were a bit scaly after cold season! The thick consistency also means a little goes a long way! My hair and skin are definitely moisturized. As for hair growth/ regrowth, I am not sure yet, but will continue to use it. Ricinoleic acid is a fatty acid in castor oil, which has many benefits. Most claims for growth are anecdotal, but this oil is cheaper than a lot of treatments out there, and this one is organic! So it has my vote for being an alternative treatment for healthier skin and hair, and not forgetting the occasional bout of constipation! Photos: To show consistency, I placed a drop of mandarin coconut oil (baby oil consistency) in the right, and a drop of the castor oil on the left. The c.o. did not spread, but the other oil did. I have seen it described as non-greasy, but I would disagree. I attempted to photograph a drop of the oil to show how thick it is! Not sure that it effectively illustrates that! :)

A good product to purchase for hair growth. BUT PLEASE UNDERSTAND you must have a routine. Everyday after doing my facial wash with Eva Naturals Facial cleanser, I used the small brush that comes with Eva Naturals Organic Castor Oil on my brows and the mascara brush on my eyelashes. I do this morning and b/4 bed. Growth is GREAT. But having routine is Key.

I purchased this Castor Oil because the girl that does my eyebrows told me that castor oil and coconut oil do wonders for hair growth. I have one thin spot on my brow that I need to promote growth. I like that this bottle comes with easy to use applicators and instructions. The oil has no odor and feels very nourishing on the skin. I have primarily used it on my lashes and brows, but am considering trying it as a moisturizer for my face as well. I do think that my lashes and brows are a little thicker, but I think that more time is needed to get the full benefits of the product. I think this price point is a great value for the product. I would recommend trying it out. Much cheaper alternative to some of the other products out there to promote lash and brow growth.

I am a cancer patient that finished chemo approximately 2 months ago. 1 month after I finished chemo, my eyebrows and eyelashes fell out. For a woman, that is just as devastating as losing a full head of hair (which I had lost when I started chemo). I did some research on how to speed the regrowth process on my eyebrows and eyelashes and castor oil came up in several different searches. I was reluctant, but I didn't have anything to lose. After apply the castor oil nightly to my eyebrow area and eyelash areas I began to regrowth very quickly, more the eyebrows and eyelashes were a bit slower. 30 days after starting to use the castor oil, my eyebrows have fully grown back in and my eyelashes are almost fully grown out. I'm no expert and this may not work for everyone, but I'm happy to say my experience has been a good one!

I purchased this because back in February, I tweezed my brows to near nothing because I was in a hurry. Oops! Since I'm not a fan of drawn on eyebrows, I bought this to speed up the growing process. I did have to do the fake brow thing for about 6 months before they grew back nice and full (yes, my brows take forever to grow because I have a couple of scars on my eyebrows and have been tweezing since I was a teen so they're very sparse). But this certainly helped. I also have naturally long and thick eyelashed but have been putting this on them anyway and it has made them nice and moisturized (not so brittle). I always use castor oil when I get myself in a bind with my brows and it never disappoints. I highly recommend this brand, the price was great and I didn't even use half of the bottle.
