KEMEI Foil Shavers for Men, Electric Twin Blade Razor, Cordless Double Foil Barber Beard Skin Fade Shaver, 8000 RPM High Speed Motor, Waterproof USB-C Rechargeable Travel Shaver

Bought this to replace the cartridge razor I use at work as the carts were getting way too expensive. I'm a dedicated SE shaver when not at work but have dabbled with electric razors in the past and thought "why not its the same price as 5 carts so nothing really to lose,". Well it came the next day in a well presented box with the lead, spare foils brush, nose hair trimmer (hand powered) and a small pouch. Fully charged straight out the box . So being waterproof I went for a shower and applied a little Erasmic aloe gel to one days growth, after a few steoke I was more than impressed. Now I've used Panosonic, Braun and a couple of other brands, but this little shaver beats them all. The shave was very close without pressure and easy with out messing about. For this price its well worth a punt.

I don’t normally do reviews but I made an exception for this garbage. Possible one of the worst products I’ve ever bought it, absolutely awful doesn’t work whatsoever. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

I asked my barber what foil shaver I should buy For tidying my cheek line to my beard as sick of poor quality off the shelf brands. He did recommend the professional ranges from the likes of Wahl as the difference between off the shelf and professional lines are huge and are excellent albeit expensive. He then pointed me in the direction of Kemei, explaining he also uses some of their equipment and in terms of quality they are on par and for the price in comparison just can't be beat. As small as my previous travel sized 1 foil foil shaver comes with a travel pouch and spare cutting head. After using for the first time today, I see and feel a massive difference in quality between the off the shelf brands I've been using and this. They give an incredibly close cut. When I'm at home I cut my cheek line with a double edge razor, however this cuts as close if not closer so will solely be using this going forward. Not sure of battery life as only used once however the USB charging cable is genius. I travel all the time so losing plugs seems to happen sometimes, but not having to worry about losing a specific charger as only need a USB is brilliant. Also bought their T blade clippers with LCD which are excellent as well. Very impressed and extremely thankful to my barber for pointing me in the direction of these and saving me a small fortune being able to avoid the "top" companies professional lines for limited home use. Would definitely look no further and buy this brand again. Highly recommend.

I bought this strictly for travel, for the convenience of its USB charging, its size and weight. Many other considerations were not important to me. For the intended purpose, it is a great shaver, it was nicely packaged, chargeable via USB-C, it is even smaller and lighter than my Braun battery operated travel shaver. I think some negative reviews were unfair. It is not a shaver for day in day out use, especially for those who grow long thick stubbles overnight. They would need a heavy duty Braun or similar with extra blades embedded between two shaving foils. See pictures comparing Braun Series 5, Braun battery travel shaver and Kemei. The quality is ok commensurate with the price, nothing like a Braun. I deducted one star for the quality of USB-C connector. Only half of my cables would go in, so not sure know how long the connector will last. Also, I charged 10-12 hours overnight and the charging light is still red, a faulty circuit ?

On the face of it this isn't bad, however having used it a few times there are a few issues. Positives however, include the design and feel of the shaver which are good and it comes with a USB C cable which quickly charges it. The charge itself is maintained for hours on end. The negatives though are that the shave is poor and coverage is uneven, despite going over areas multiple times. This leads to shaving rash and an unpleasant few days afterwards. The mechanism also gets really warm which again leads to unpleasantness. Overall you're better off getting a different one and going a bit more expensive to ensure a good, reliable shave.

A lot of people, probably 'Muricans' from across the pond seem to be confused. This is NOT a beard trimmer and will not trim beards! This is a shaver for an everyday type shave. it's 20 quid! This works as expected and gives a decent shave. I doesn't have a side burn trimmer and will not 'fade' whatever that is? I am happy with this and suggest if you have realistic expectations, you will be too.

This is the second Kemei razor I've purchased. The last model was great, but this one is even better. Aesthetically it's very, very attractive, and it comes with a spare foil and numerous other attachments. It's also quieter and gives a smoother, even closer shave. It also came fully charged. My only slight niggle is that the USB cable is very short, but that's par for the course with just about everything, these days. I've tried top brand names in the past and paid an absolute fortune, but I'll stick with Kemei from now on.

Purchased as a cheaper alternative to my Andis foil shaver but broke after a few weeks (foils broke). Buy the Andis foils, it’s worth the extra. Pros: Small, quiet (comparatively), USB-C charging, spare foils. Cons: Needs to be emptied after every shave, not the closest shave, charging light doesn’t go out once fully charged, broke after three weeks of use.
