Happy Butter Pure Ghee 300g

This ghee is lovely - the texture and the taste are delicious, and it's so easy to use straight out the jar. I use it for cooking and it gives a lovely flavour to food, but subtle enough that it's not overpowering. It smells great too - sweet, almost like buttery fudge. This is my go to brand now - I use it daily in all my cooking. I've recently tried to eat a more primal/paleo diet to limit milk proteins and lactose and although this is dairy, ghee is lactose and casein free. I believe it's also supposed to be anti-inflammatory due to the fatty acids in it, so it's a great healthy fat to cook with. This brand is quite pricey, but well worth it for the quality, plus it's organic. It came bubble wrapped from Amazon and arrived in perfect condition.

I don't use ghee often, but when I do this is the only one that I can stand the taste of in dishes. I've tried several brands, but always come back to this one. Would recommend highly to anyone! I know it's not cheap, but tastes so much better than others & now it's the only one I'll use. Gives a wonderfully comforting, silky mouth-feel to dhall dishes, especially.

Nice smell, flavour and texture. It's soft and therefore great for spreading on bread or to use when cooking.

So I bought what I have thought to be good ghee several times previously from various high end brands, and I've never understood why people would actually like the flavour. I choose it for health reasons and I'm back on trying bulletproof coffee. When this arrived and I tasted it I thought wow, this must be the real deal! I personally think its delicious! I got my mother to try it who also loved the flavour, we both agreed it's like tasting really good quality brown sugar buttery fudge, but if it had absolutely zero sweetness to it. It's hard to explain but you'll understand once you try it! I absolutely love it and am using it in a lot of my cooking, so delicious and affordable, five stars all round!
