we had lights built in to the overhang. three of them. too much light. So we bought these to work dusk to dawn. we are only using one, and the area is well lit, but not over bright. like them very much. The only problem was these were a little short. but they still fit.

I put them in the spots over the driveway. Very cloudy day, so can't tell how they'll work. The fit just fine in the old fixture. If they go on and off reliably, I'll be happy - save money, as we keep forgetting to turn those darned lights off.An update: BE SURE not to hang your Christmas lights too close to them. Even the small ones, if they're too near the sensor, are too bright and your lights won't come on. It took me a couple of days (OK, maybe I'm slow on the uptake) to figure this out and move the "merry and bright" a bit.

It’s past my return period so I’ll just have to live with these terrible bulbs. They don’t work in tight enclosures. The bulbs react to reflections from the enclosure and will turn on and off repeatedly. I also have one bulbs that just stays on continuously even when there is bright daylight around it. The sensors in these bulbs must be terribly cheap.I wouldn’t recommend buying at all.

The best valve out there for recessed lighting outside your house. The bulbs work exactly as designed even in a deep recessed fixture. I tried multiple types of bulbs with a side mounted sensor and my fixtures were too dark so the light stayed on all the time. The sensor on these is right in the middle so it works great. If your fixture is shining directly at a flat reflective surface you might have some issues with light reflecting back and causing the light to Repeatedly turn on and off, but a small piece of electrical tape over the center of the bulb fixes that without blocking much light coming out.I couldn’t have figured that out though without the customer service help. Send them an email and a fluent English speaker calls you back with the right knowledge base to answer your question. What a great idea!They save me so much time by not having to troubleshoot it myself that I decided to leave this review.

The product appears to be well made and energy efficient. However, in actual application only one out four bulbs worked in the specific application I had planned. Many minor physical differences in the light fixture caused the dusk to dawn feature not to function correctly. The light sensors in the bulbs are very sensitive causing lights to blink, flicker and simple shut off. The main issues were, bulbs can not be located too close together, the bulb cannot sit too deep within a recessed light fixture and the bulb cannot be mounted over light colored or reflective surfaces. The manufacturer’s U.S. representative was not helpful in troubleshooting the problem or finding solutions.

Solved a problem easily, but of the four bulbs had an obnoxious flicker so QC is not that good . It made it easy to add dusk/dawn lights without electrical wiring so it was a good buy

I've been looking for a long lasting LED PAR20 outside floodlight to replace my existing outside floodlights that would burn out often. I order this four pack and have been nothing but happy.Not only are they brighter, but I no longer need to manually turn them off and on as they do a great job of sensing dawn and dusk and automatically turn on/off.The price is right and they are projected to last roughly nine years. Highly recommend!

These little lights are so bright I like that they illuminates my entire driveway area. A great feature is they cut off at dawn so that I am not wasting unwanted energy. I gave these blubs a four instead of a five because three out of the four worked the fourth light flickers and blinks it did not matter which socket I put it in. Overall I will order another set I have more security lights installed around my home that these little bright lights will be perfect for.
