VViViD Matte Transparent Masking Stencil Vinyl (12" x 6ft)

I used this VViViD masking film to make painting masks for a 1/4 scale model. It adhered very well to an eggshell finish paint after rubbing it down well and there was no bleed through at all at the edges when the markings were airbrushed. It came off cleanly and was reusable. It is supple enough to conform to curves and details. I gave it a few seconds of a heat gun to get it to stick down over some raised details. Weeded easily using dental picks instead of the Cricut tools. I use a Cricut Explore Air 2.

Works well on watercolor paper. Does not bleed paint and peels off without damaging paper.

I used this to put down as a masking layer before spray painting. It’s easy to cut, thick, and doesn’t leave any sticky residue. The adhesive sticks well and doesn’t slip. Great stuff!

I have used this stencil for a few wood projects, and for the most part it works great. As other reviews stated, it does bubble up when applying to your sticky mat for your machine to cut. I just patiently scraped the bubbles, and air pockets flat. If you are not a vinyl user you will find this very frustrating. Also, it did not stick to one of the wood projects I did, I had to push it back down and quickly go over it with paint before the stencil popped back up. So consider the type of surface you apply this stencil to. Be sure to apply a small layer of paint at a time, or it will seep through - and you wont get perfect lines. I do recommend this item, the value is great - just be sure you know how to use vinyl before using.

Just what i needed to build scenes on my cards. Can be used over and over again great buy. Never damages my card. And sticks down is awsome. I even do watercolor around it.

I'm an artist and I like to mask particular parts of some of my paintings. I was using lamination vinyl but it leaked from the edges. This masking paper is a little bit thicker, but it adheres very well, and doesn't allow any paint through the edges at all. Well worth the money.

I was looking for something to mask off an area for acrylic painting on canvas. Unfortunately this did not stick to the canvas AT All so now I have a roll of useless plastic.

This has the perfect amount of tack for canvas blocking - it's not too sticky, doesn't leave any adhesive when removing from canvases. So if you need to block areas on your canvases, this is the perfect product, and highly recommended!

Good for key tech protection. The matte finish helps me use it to screen guard my devices. My son likes the matte touch on his iPad. Wish it had little more thickness
