Very expensive at no additional advantage
The only good thing with this cable is it is recognised by thunderbolt 3 ports of MacBook Pro, all other things as almost the same as generic cables.

Functional and--smelly?
The cable works fine--but it arrived with a strong smell of marijuana that is somehow impregnated in the cable itself. When I hold it, the smell transfers to my hands. WTF?

does not work with my new MacBook Pro 2016
I bought this cable for using on my new MacBook Pro with my Canon camera. The cable does not work as I plugged it in Lightroom does not work with my new MacBook Pro 2016 didn't recognise the camera so I then plug in the USB a cable that came with the camera and it worked first time. Whether this is a problem with my macbook pro as it uses The new technology of second-generation USB C ports or weather the cable is faulty I'm not certain. But it's not worth the hassle to send it back

Good product
I bought this to use in my 2019 Ford Escape car. It’s for my dash cam. The cord is a little too short to get all the way around but I remied the problem with an extender cable. Would also be nice if there were different colours. This cord is really nice though it’s flexible and strong and just what I needed.

Works as Expected
I bought two of these cable to use on external drives. As far as I can tell, they work fine. I can't tell if the transfer rate is any faster, which could be possible as these are USB-C cables rather than USB-A (old style).
