My birds love this formula! I hand fed my cockatiels 5 years ago and to this day they still like to eat it several times a week and it keeps them healthy. This formula really made all of my birds very healthy when they were little chicks and they loved it. I have never had any problems with them not liking it, if anything they were always very excited during feeding time. Almost 7 years later I continue to feed them this formula and they go nuts when they hear me in the kitchen mixing it up for them. I put in on a dish and they eat it right up like a treat. They also like it when I put it on a spoon for them so they can get on my shoulder and enjoy their treat. Very recently we had more cockatiel babies hatch and we hand fed them using this same brand and they also loved eating the formula. We purchased the 1ml syringes from Amazon that are wonderful to use and purchased this large bag as well. We have the Kaytee container and just scooped out the formula from the large bag and placed it in the container to keep everything fresh and manageable during feedings. Purchasing the large bags are more cost effecive and the price is fantastic! If we purchased this large formula bag at our local pet store the price would be double. Making the formula is so easy, just use a scooper or a tablespoon, place it in a glass cup, add hot/warm water and stir it to together. I also like that I can adjust the consistency of the formula by adding either more hot water or more formula. For feeding the chicks I use a disposable syringe, then fill it up with the formula and hand feed them. Afterwards, I discard any leftover formula in the garbage disposal and then make another batch for the next feeding. I use the same procedure when making formula for my adult Cockatiels and Conures. Some like to eat it off of a plate, some like a spoon and some still like to eat from the syringe. For my adults I like to feed them several times a week. This formula really helped keep my birds healthy as babies and continues to keep them healthy as adults. Would recommend this formula to anyone that is going to hand feed their birds and also to maintain their health throughout the years.

This stuff is great i enjoy the fact this formula is so simple to mix and has no flaws the last 7 years of hand feeding it mixes great no clumps does perfect with small or large syringes without clogging some formulas clog them terrible kaytee mixes great and is very simple to use and mix to the correct consistency i also have noticed great growth rates using this rather then some of the others I've used in the passed.

I bought this for my very young rescued pigeon. The baby refused to eat it. I was soaking dog biscuits in water until this arrived and pigeon loved that. I tried mixing. But pigeon refused to eat that. The sellers delivery was excellent. It arrived in great shape and quickly.

Exact hand feeding formula has always been a favourite of mine, easy to mix with no lumps. This is the second bag of the High Fat and I personally prefer it, as my birds are keeping better weight with it.

I raise a fair amount of handraised Gouldian and canary chicks, often by hand. This high fat formula works so much better than the regular formula does. It doesn't stick to them like glue like Roudybush does (it's nice except for that). and thewy just seem to do better on this formula. Chicks happily accept it. Healthy food equals health baby birds.

I used this formula for my baby cockatiels and they grow strong and healthy! It mixes easily and the babies love it!
