Butterfly tail Betta and tank # 6 upgrade and love it ; an all in one tank, built in roomy filtration system and my tetra pre-set heater fits inside. I like sponge/charcoal cartridge. Adjustable flow setting on the pump, note to control out coming flow and increase filtering.I On high I wrap some sponge filter around spout and secure quickly with electric zip tie.Moving water makes a better functioning tank! This tank sits in front of a mirror a great clean and compact design hiding all cords and etc.Looks really sharp and classy. I also use a apump small and silent air pump. My experience has proven additional air stones or small air driven sponge filters improve water quality, health, happiness and well being for fish. Most of my Bettas love swimming in air bubbles! LIGHTS are A+ quality: the built in and bright LEDS support my plant growth and could be an amazing Glofish (Danios) tank as well with the night setting. The rimless cube glass is very nice quality. The black plastic the cube sits in is a bit flimsy but encloses the tank proving many options when working into my decor. I would buy again and now interested in the 5 gallon rail style.

I just got this yesterday, so I will most likely have to update this review at some point, but so far, I love this tank. It was so easy to set up, it's super quiet, and the pump on it seems to work just great. I got this for my Betta, I am currently running this for a week with nothing in it, but adding the water purifiers and getting it all cycled before she goes in there. I think I'm going to have to turn the pump down to the lowest setting, which I knew I was going to have to do from reading the other reviews. I love how the light goes from "day" to "night" and at some point, maybe I will try glow fish. The Tank is small, so I wouldn't put more than a couple fish in there. I love the sleek and modern design. The Base is plastic, and I really hope that it holds up, But I do love the way the tank seems to be almost suspended in mid air. There is no top that comes with it other than the plastic curved lid, so I think this could be an issue. I will update in a few weeks !

I have to give it a 4 star rating because it DOES NOT come with a glass canopy like the description says so. The black plastic hanging over the tank leaves about an inch of the front of the aquarium open. If you have a fish that is at risk for jumping, you'd need to find or make a cover to prevent jumping. Also, the filter doesn't flow any lower for bettas. The "low" flow of the water is strong enough to move my betta across the tank if he gets close enough. He seemed to be bothered by the current and would stay in the corner farthest from the filter spout. I adjusted the spout so the water would flow closer to the wall and directly into the the water with no air space in between the spout and the water surface. He seems more comfortable now swimming almost everywhere. Other than those two concerns, this is not a bad choice for my betta! He seems much happier than the sad bowl I had him in. I live in a small aparment so the size is perfect; it sits on the right side of my desk which is about 1.5' x 4'. I enjoy that the filter is completely hidden and pleasantly quiet. The LED lights are visually appealing and not overwhelming for a small tank.

The first tank I received looked like it was a display model. It was super dusty when I opened it up, residue from it looked like stickers being on the glass of the tank and worst of all: chips, scratches and even a hole at the bottom of the tank covered by silicon. I would've called it done at that point but I saw it was a beautiful looking tank so I returned the first one and got another. The second one I received was a lot better but it still had some faint scratches on the black top lid. I've had it for two months now and not a problem at all. It looks wonderful and my Betta seems to love it. It can fit a Aqueon Pro 50 water heater just fine if you're concerned about that. The only things to note is that it's not really a good idea to carry it around after it's full of water because the shell is pretty thin plastic; so you'll need to siphon out the water. The filter does bother my Betta a bit because it blows him around but he has no problems after I tilted it towards the corner of the tank. Also the housing that contains the filters and the pump is a bit flimsy, so just take care when cleaning and taking the pump out.

This is a beautiful tank, and most important to me, IT'S REALLY QUITE. We have 3 gold fish and we have had two, 3 gallon tanks for them previously but have been searching for something different. The tank seperates a good portion off in the back for the filtration system. This reduces the actual USABLE size of the tank. I also think it's important to mention that with minimal rocks and a couple small plants the tank only takes 2 and half gallons of water.

We have a goldfish in the tank and it’s constantly splashing water out of the tank so the tank is covered with water spots and the table as well. It also evaporates very fast so water has to be added often. If you have a Beta this may be better suited, however the filter speed even when on low is quite fast so it may be too strong for a Beta. This tank needs a lid!!!

This has been a perfect tank for my beta. Leonardo loves his new home! It is the perfect beta size if u don't have a lot of room for a bigger tank. It stays remarkably clean for a long time. It doesn't take up a lot of room, and it has a very classy look. The filter that comes with it is fantastic.

I can't say enough good things about this product. The only downfall is the water access for the filter, it's low to the gravel bed and easily takes in shrimp and fry. I wouldn't reccomend this for anything smaller than a guppy. Although it is very sleek, modern, and affordable.

It's a good tank but I found the back was more of a death trap for any fish smaller than a betta and the flow was just way to fast on the lowest flow for my betta. I personally ended up gutting the back of the tank and replacing my filtration with a small sponge filter. The lighting is good enough to grow plants and other than the filtration being an issue it is a decent tank. I got mine when it was really cheap but I would definitely wait for a sale or buy it used.

Aquarium back divider filter plate came off the one side so had to glue it. The outside back of the aquarium coating around the sump started to peel off at corners. Its cheaply made and wouldn't recommend buying one for the cost.
