Shin Guard for Muay Thai, Kickboxing, MMA Training, Maya Hide Leather Instep Leg Foam Pads for Martial Arts, Sparring, Gear for BJJ and Boxing

These are very comfortable and protective shin guards. They can take a lot of impact and because of strong velcro straps and instep, they don't go anywhere while moving and kicking. I also had a great experience with customer service. I went according to the sizing chart, but the medium was a little too big for me. For reference my shin length is 33 cm (borderline S vs M based on the chart) and 165 cm/5'5" (solidly in the M category based on the chart). Customer service was very quick to get back to me, and I was able to purchase the small, receive it quickly and compare to the medium I already had, and send the medium back for a refund. When they received my return, they emailed me to let me know they had gotten it and that I would receive the refund in 24 hours, which I did. 5 star service! The small size was perfect.

Bought these in a medium and a large both and kept the large. I am 5’ 9” and 170lbs. The medium fit well but the foot area was too tight. The large was just about an inch larger in the shin which was fine, the foot area was slightly looser so I wasn’t constricted. Overall it fit great. Sparred only these my very first night using them and they didn’t move around at all. Great protection as well. Also, the quality feels really good. I’ve had other shin guards and for these being synthetic leather they feel better than leather in some ways. Would 10/10 recommend.

Love these shin guards! The closure straps allow for different sized calves and feel very secure. The length is great but the foot pad is a little long for me personally. The thickness of the padding is great and don’t feel anything when doing bag work or sparing. Good price for better quality!

I purchased these to use with a heavy bag. They are adequate for the task. Fit: I ordered and received a medium size. My foot size is 10 and my calf’s are of average size to a bit small. They fit perfect. If you have larger calf’s I would recommend a large as the top strap does not have much length left for adjustment with my moderate calf size. Padding: moderate. As mentioned I use these for heavy bag, mostly low kick work. The heavy I use, as with most is quite hard in the lower portion due to settling of the stuffing. These pads protect enough to only cause a moderate pain with a hard kick. My shins are not hardened yet and these pads will allow hardening while protecting from damage. Quality: since I have only recently acquired them I cannot assess for long term durability but the stitching and materials appear to be good enough for my purposes. Based on my subjective opinion these pads are adequate for my purposes and are a good value. This along with the fair price and quick shipping is why I rated 5 star.

My son absolutely loves these for Maui Thai classes! He uses them weekly and they hold up great! Great quality, work as they should and would def buy another pair!

I guess I got a defective item or this model is defective. The foot strap ripped after less than 3 months of occasional and light use. We have several RDX items, hand wraps, headgear, and 3 pairs of gloves and shin guards, one of them is about 3 years old and still used hard. I hope the company gonna do something about it...

About the same as more expensive brands. Good for training and working up some shin conditioning, prevents the ultra painful shin hits when you are checking.
