Very unusual yet easy to use
Very unusual yet easy to use ...I'm still not sure if these willbe"my " go to picks ...mainly because they're slicker , and have zero drag on the string... You get low percussive effect while strumming , which I imagine is good for super hi gain stuff ....I rarely will play that gained out so it makes my slightly crunchy tone quiet with dynamics difficult to come by ......so my disclaimer , I've been learning for lil over 3 yrs but am still very much a beginner .....so any technique is a skill I'm still developing and maybe I'm missing something about these picks because of that......otherwise these are very well made nice and thick and comfortable..

Favorite flatpick.
This one does not flip out of my fingers. Very thick and stiff. I especially like it for my mandolin playing. Some players don’t like these at all. But they work for me like no other.

This is really a nice pic man
This is really a nice pic man. I'm just in love with the smooth release, and the comfortable handling. I also dig that it has a slightly warmer tone than the purple ones...

Great pick
These are great picks, I used the standard 3mm big stubbies for years as I love the feel of them, but I was never a huge fan of the tone. Finally I tried the nylon version and was immediately hooked. Had the same feel but a much better tone (in my opinion). The only downside is I feel that they wear slightly faster than the regular stubbies, but overall not having the chirping sound every time I hit a string greatly outweighs the slight increase in wear. I highly recommend this pick

The bigger the better!
I play bluegrass and rock. For a long time I have known that guitarists who are very fast use heavy picks, which keep your wrist flexible. Only recently, have I tried these Big Stubby picks, which are fantastic. My speed has increased by about 20%. They don't slip from your fingers like other thin picks. The indentation gives a firm grip so you are not likely to drop a pick while playing. I tried the purple 3 mm picks, which are made with very hard plastic but decided their tone was too harsh. I took them back, substituting them for the nylon versions. These I recommend!

Good picks however.....
These are very good picks however, when buying multiples one would expect consistency in quality.

The Best Pick is Now Even Better in Nylon
The standard Big Stubby picks were always the best to play with because their shape hits the strings perfectly, allowing for maximum speed and expressiveness. However, I realized, much to my disappointment, that they produced an unpleasant click sound in the attack envelope when the string is plucked. Dunlop saved the day with this Nylon version of the same pick. It has the same smooth playability but has a warm, also smooth attack. They don't wear out like the originals but are softer and so easy to damage. I am totally loving this product!

Best Picks Ever!
I have always used Dunlop, and they have never let me down. The Nylon picks have helped me create the tone I desire for my music, and will never go back. The only reason this is four stars is that I go through picks relatively fast. I give these out to other guitarists, the pick goblin steals them, and they also are worn down from the type of music I play. I would really like to see a 72 pack option in the future.

initially i was using 1.25mm Planet waves pics and I came to know about these Big Stubby pics and just thought let's just try the 3.0mm for a change and after using these pics I was amazed by the tone and comfort. Really these pics are must have pics for any serious Guitar player. You can notice instant change in your tone quality. I highly recommend "BIG STUBBY" but the delivery takes many days coz of the international shipping

Picks were delivered quickly and are exactly what I ordered. I like the width. Makes them easy to keep hold of.
