Very unusual yet easy to use
Very unusual yet easy to use ...I'm still not sure if these willbe"my " go to picks ...mainly because they're slicker , and have zero drag on the string... You get low percussive effect while strumming , which I imagine is good for super hi gain stuff ....I rarely will play that gained out so it makes my slightly crunchy tone quiet with dynamics difficult to come by ......so my disclaimer , I've been learning for lil over 3 yrs but am still very much a beginner .....so any technique is a skill I'm still developing and maybe I'm missing something about these picks because of that......otherwise these are very well made nice and thick and comfortable..

Great pick
These are great picks, I used the standard 3mm big stubbies for years as I love the feel of them, but I was never a huge fan of the tone. Finally I tried the nylon version and was immediately hooked. Had the same feel but a much better tone (in my opinion). The only downside is I feel that they wear slightly faster than the regular stubbies, but overall not having the chirping sound every time I hit a string greatly outweighs the slight increase in wear. I highly recommend this pick

Great pick!
I bought them as a change-up from the purple Big Stubbies, little did I know that they are made from a different material than the purple picks. The gray picks are a better material (IMO) and are actually easier to hold than the purple version.

This is really a nice pic man
This is really a nice pic man. I'm just in love with the smooth release, and the comfortable handling. I also dig that it has a slightly warmer tone than the purple ones...

Non-slip, flexible, some molding flash
i like the shape and feel of the Dunlop Big Stubbies, but I find that the material is too hard for my tastes. These are made of a softer material, and are easier to grip, but they’re a bit too “clicky” (if that’s a word) in the 1.0mm thickness. I might try ordering thicker ones to see how they play. Mine also had a significant amount of mold flashing around the edges, which is something I’ve never seen in any Dunlop pick before. Maybe I got a bad batch? I’m going to do some hand sanding with 320 or 400 grit paper and see how that works.

Quintessential Bass Pick
These picks are amazing for bass guitar. In my experience, even the heaviest of regular guitar picks end up breaking down when used on bass strings, whereas these last forever, or until you lose them. Tonally, I prefer the resulting sound produced by these picks as opposed to regular guitar picks because it doesn't produce as much of a 'ping'; the sound is darker, but remains clear and robust.

Dunlop Big Stubby 3.0mm
This guitar pick is awesome, still using my first pick since I got it. I play heavy metal and some rock, the pick never slips, solid, and very responsive. It took me a while to get the hang of using a guitar pick this big, I ordered the stubby 2.0mm just to see how they hold up. The 2mm were pretty good...(for a while) I ordered the 3.0mm to see which guitar pick would suit me better, I tried the 3.0s and never looked back. This guitar pick is by far the best guitar pick I've tried.

Bought a whole bag of these - have been handing them out to bass players with good results
The contoured finger grips on the top and bottom help you hold on to this better than the Fender mediums I tended to use before. I went through a lot of the Fenders. These picks are thicker but shaped to have a nice, somewhat rounded point that you strike the string with. Try it for bass

initially i was using 1.25mm Planet waves pics and I came to know about these Big Stubby pics and just thought let's just try the 3.0mm for a change and after using these pics I was amazed by the tone and comfort. Really these pics are must have pics for any serious Guitar player. You can notice instant change in your tone quality. I highly recommend "BIG STUBBY" but the delivery takes many days coz of the international shipping

Picks were delivered quickly and are exactly what I ordered. I like the width. Makes them easy to keep hold of.
