I am amazed at the grass that grew from this product!
I live in Western Pennsylvania, I did a lot of reading on planting springtime grasses. I waited until the ground temperature was above 55 degrees which was May 4th for this spring and spread this seed using a seed broadcaster bag. I planted right over existing pasture which really needed more grass due to high traffic areas due to horses and thinning of existing pasture. I am really impressed at the grass that is growing. I did keep my horses off of this for 4 weeks. This was exactly what I needed for our pasture! I will buy again when the pasture becomes thin or for high traffic areas. I have wasted a lot of money on seed in the past, this stuff really grew!

The best grass seed on the market
This is the best grass seed I've ever used. We live on a ranch with horses in the Texas Hill Country zone 8A, and I'm so sad this seed is now unavailable. I had it on subscription. Please bring it back. Please. I don't know what I'll do now without this fabulous grass seed. I only have 2 bags left, but each and every time I've used this seed...beautiful grass has grown leaving us with a gorgeous pasture. Easy to use and it's the best quality I've used and I've tried a lot. Edit: thank you so much for bringing it back. Purchasing more.

Good seed but follow the directions.
The seed is good quality stuff. However it does take a good while to germinate if you only spread it on the ground. I have some hilly pasture ground that I can't till with a tractor which is what the bag wants. I spread it on the ground in hopes of the frost pushing it into the soil. This worked but it took over a month to see results. The small amount that I tested by tilling sprouted in a week. So just be patient with it.

No grow
I plant grass every year from Tractor Supply for our horses in the winter months. This seed did not produce 1 blade of grass.

Worked.
I bought the seed in July and we were in a drought- The pasture was getting pretty bare with 3 donks grazing. It was probably later August/ mod September before we got any significant rain so I thought I would spread it and see what happened. Well...barely anything but I blamed my timing. Well low and behold...4 months later in late January here come the green. I will seed the other fields this year but much earlier. You can see the pics amd definitely tell the difference. Pictures are NOT retouched in any way.
