Molina Vanilla | Mexican Vanilla Extract (500 ML)

This is really nice quality vanilla extract, lovely flavour at reasonable price.

Best vanilla I've ever bought, and I'm a bit of a vanilla snob! And unlike many of the supposedly 'posh' brands, it isn't diluted with sugar either!

The list of ingredients suggest that the product is not a vanilla extract but rather a vanilla flavouring, made of a blend that includes both natural and artificial components. Pure vanilla extract typically contains only vanilla beans, alcohol, and water. Synthetic ingredients don't have the same depth of flavour as pure extract. I purchased this product at around £3/100ml, and assumed it would be vanilla extract due to the price as Aldi, Asda and Tesco all sell genuine vanilla extract for less than this product, which is only vanilla flavoured.

There is a whole list of ingredients (about 10 although hard to read) . Very misleading as it says just vanilla and alcohol and not good if you are looking for healthy vanilla flavour. On the other hand it smells great!

The 500ml bottle is generous and cost-effective, especially if you bake frequently. For everyday baking and specialty desserts, it’s a fantastic value. Would I repurchase? Yes. Would I still keep a premium single-origin extract on hand? Also yes.
