I bought the ink and my PIXMA PRO 100 won't recognize it. Don't waste your money. **Q: Will this work on a Canon Pro9000?** A: I have a Canon Pro 100 series printer and the work fine. That said I can no longer recommend these ink cartridges. They installed fine and printed wonderfully. But within a few months the print was showing serious fading. In my situation part of the image was covered for a few days and when I uncovered it the ink had degraded such that the only thing to do was throw away the print. Other items that I printed with the original Canon cartridges did not experience this problem. **Q: Is this cartridges refillable?** A: Good day! NEXTPAGE compatible Canon Cli-42 ink cartridge replacement is not refillable, and thank you for your good question :) **Q: Will this ink stay viable after installed? A month might pass between prints and the brand cartridges don't skip a beat and print like brand new?** A: These print like the brand name cartridges and the ink colors stay fresh and do not fade even if the printed photo is exposed to the sun or other light. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great with my printer *by R***A on April 18, 2026* The ink works well with the printer although I've noticed you need to be careful of leakage after taking out the plastic cover. The printer recognizes the individual cartridges and the color suits my needs. My order shipped very quickly and arrived ahead of what I expected. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They work! *by R***T on March 15, 2026* Keeping my old Canon pro 100 alive. I still print so these ink cartridges are lifeline for me. ### ⭐ 72 hour - Disappearing Ink - Fade Away Colors *by H***K on November 7, 2025* Disappearing Ink!!!! I have used my Cannon Pro-100 exclusively with Cannon's expensive ink. I was scared of the generic versions, hearing stories of leaks and chips not being compatible. Over the past few years I have seen lots of good reviews of these knock-off inks so i decided to try. The reviews on this NEXTPAGE CLI 42 Ink were good and there were thousands, so i gave it a try. Prints came out great! No leaks! No issue with chip! Then 3 days later I picked up 2 prints that were overlapping and saw the photos were dramatically changing color. What had been black and white was now Red, in 3 Days!!!!!!! This ink is worthless unless you are planning on showing your photos in the dark! Can't sell these prints, wouldn't even give them away. Wasted money on ink, and lots of money in wasted paper. This seems to be a perfect example of "too good to be true" & "you get what you pay for" See photo attached area in red was covered from the sun and is how pic looked when printed 3 days previous ## Frequently Bought Together - NEXTPAGE CLI 42 Ink cartridges Compatible Ink Cartridges Replacement for Canon CLI-42 CLI42 Use with Pro-100 Pro 100 Printer Professional Inkjet PIXMA PRO-100 Ink 8 Colors 2 Set 16 PCS - Canon Luster Photo Paper, 13" x 19" (50 Sheets) (LU-101 13X1950) - Canon CLI-42 8 PK Value Pack Ink, 8 Pack Compatible to PIXMA PRO-100 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.it/products/99549610-nextpage-cli-42-ink-cartridges-replacement-for-canon-cli-42](https://www.desertcart.it/products/99549610-nextpage-cli-42-ink-cartridges-replacement-for-canon-cli-42) --- *Product available on Desertcart Italy* *Store origin: IT* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
