925 Sterling Silver Italian Byzantine Necklace for Women, Handmade in Italy

Mirabella Sterling silver Italian necklace is durable. Had a nice shine to it. The size was perfect. The thickness the weight light not too heavy and so far tarnish free.

I was very concerned with the low price of $69. What kind of quality in a Byzantine would I receive? Turns out, great! I have made jewelry in years past, but I have never been capable of making this chain. When I was in Istanbul, I learned that master craftsmen studied for 15years, before taking on this chain. Wow, ...and every inch of this chain took one foot of silver. This chain is considered the finest of design. With "try before you buy", you have a week to make up your mind, but I only needed 30 seconds to decide. This is truly a bargain. It is not flat, but an oval, I guess. It is obviously A great deal of work and skill. I would gift this without hesitation. I received compliments the very first day. I have begun to save for the gold version. Yes, the gold version is scary expensive. What else would I expect for the height of jewelry design? But at my age (old), there is nothing I have not acquired. I like this chain so much, I dare say this is a very, very, good deal. For this design... A steal. Do not hesitate with this beautiful Byzantine. Once purchased, imagine creating this piece for under 70 bucks... Yeah, right. FANTASTIC!

This is absolutely beautiful! My wife loves it!

The necklace itself is good quality but it is a bit lite so I assume it is mostly hollow. It comes in a Ziploc plastic bag which is inside a white "gift box". The necklace and box were shipped in an envelope which doesn't offer any protection of the box. Mine arrived with one corner squished which was disappointing because this was a gift. Inside the box is a piece of white foam that has a few slits cut into it to allow you to press the necklace into the foam for displaying it. It certainly isn't fancy and I had to cut a couple of extra slots in the foam to display it properly. That being said, for the price it isn't bad and the quality of the necklace seems to be good but don't expect it to be a heavy piece because it is quite lite.

Love this necklace! Feels like high quality and it matches the bracelet I purchased earlier from Mirabella. I included a photo that shows the necklace along with a pendant — looks elegant by itself and adding the pendant was a bit of fun. Necklace feels like high quality for the price and overall a good value. Some of the other comments mentioned they had issues with the finish when they soaked the necklace overnight in dish soap or other solutions. This is not good for sterling silver or the rhodium coating. Over the years I’ve found regularly using a jewelry polishing cloth as both gentle and effective. Hope this helps someone with the longevity of their purchase. Cheers!

This piece is probably the prettiest chain I have ever worn to date. It is gorgeous and sparkly. It’s a bit lighter than expected… I expected it to be heavy and it is not. It feels weightless on, is beautiful and flattering. Too big for most to all pendants unfortunately.
