First time user - Works just like it should.
I have a watch or two with plastic/acrylic/etc "crystals" in them that were really scratched up. A simple a cost friendly fix was to get some PolyWatch that I've heard about from various sources. For this review I used an older Seiko automatic that I recently purchased off of eBay for cheap. The glass or "crystal" was really scratched up so I thought it a perfect candidate. After receiving the tube, I sat down with some Q-tips and paper towels on a desk. I set the watch down and squeezed some on and buffed with a Q-tip/cotton swab for 3-5 minutes (re-applying a little paste every minute or so). After that first session It was hard to tell if it had worked, but the watch in question was pretty badly scratched and dinged up so I went another 5-10 mins. After that I could definitely tell a difference - the deep gouges and scratches were much less noticeable and the dial more visible. I went another 5-7 minutes before calling it a night and was surprised at the before/after photo comparison. I'd say in total I buffed this 1 watch crystal for about 20 minutes, re-applying paste often. I'd guess I used about 1/4 of the amount in the tube. I will say, the tube is not 100% full from the start - Holding it up to a light you can see about 60% of it contained product. For the higher cost for such a small tube, consideration should be given to how much is used and on what projects. It IS cheaper and less hassle than replacing the crystal though. PROS: - It works. May take several coats and some elbow grease to really get deep scratches and dings out. - Comes with nice little fabric swab that seemed to work well with the paste. - Cheaper than replacing the crystal. CONS: - Small tube for how much it costs. Expect 2-4 good uses from this 1 tube for deeply scratched crystals. - Tube comes filled with a lot of air - package size can be misleading to how much content is inside. *Photo attached shows "Before" photos on Left side, "After" photos on Right side. Watch has a few spots and dust specks inside crystal so some of that isn't the crystal.

Forget about it.
I had high hopes, but this product is totally bogus. It is a polish, as stated on the front of the tube. The directions say, "Apply PolyWatch to the plastic watch crystal. Polish the scratched areas for 2 to 3 minutes with pressure using a piece of cotton wool. Deep scratches need to be treated more than once." I've got news for you. You could apply, re-apply and re-apply again til doomsday, and it ain't doing a darn thing to remove the scratches, no matter how shallow. Tried it on a watch and on reading glasses. No impact whatsoever.

This amazing product really works!
I had recently purchased a Swatch Sistem 51 watch here on Amazon and really liked the watch, but I had already managed to get some small scratches on the acrylic crystal and that distressed me. The watch is beautiful, but the scratches detracted from that beauty. I decided to Google "how to remove scratches from an acrylic watch crystal" and the search result led me to Polywatch here on Amazon. I looked at the product and found many favorable reviews, so I made up my mind to order some and figure "what the heck, if it works, the scratches will be gone and if not, at least I tried." To my great surprise, this product works so well that with just a tiny bit of it applied to the crystal and a couple minutes of rubbing with a soft cotton cloth and those scratches were gone. There isn't even a trace of a scratch visible now! I could hardly believe how easy it was and that the results were so remarkable. This product clearly works as described. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Works but at a cost to your watch
Let me first say that this product does work, by time and patience are key. I had a a couple of scratches and two mild deep scratches where you could feel the scratch real good when you brush your finger over them. I followed the instructions and did 3 two to three minute sessions working the polywatch on my pebble watch, and noticed no bigger difference than when I used toothpaste. So I then realized maybe I was being gentle and that was the issue. The next day I used more and did another 2 3 minute sessions working in small circular motions and I can't see any if the scratches and the surface is real smooth. Great right? That is until I noticed a light hue in a small circle area exactly where I used the product. Pissed I was until I watched and read some forums and all said a screen protector will make everything I'm seeing almost clear up, so a screen protector for NY pebble I bought. I can say that if you look at my watch that you have no idea it was ever scratched real bad. The screen protector definitely helps give it that like new polish, especially with a black background face in the pebble. So all in all I can say this product works, but the negative and why I give it 3 stars is because they do little to state the side effects if using the product as like I experienced. Plus, they should say and partner with skinomi or someone and sell a kit with a skin and say you must use polywatch with a skin in order to have best results. Hope thus helps someone, but this us a great alternative to buying a new watch.

Used for a first time on gloss finished plastic trim on the interior of the doors and the middle console of my car. I was bit sceptical in the beginning and worried if it might do even further damage, so eventually I will end up paying more money to professional polisher or even to replace the whole parts. Anyway, being a stubborn fan of DIY decided to give it a go in the end, starting on a small and less visible area - it worked absolute wonders! It removed all the scratches and gave the details a nice polished finish. My car interior is as good as new again! Was so exited of the results, so decided to test it on glass table and an old and badly scratched watch - unfortunately did not make any improvement on glass surface, despite applying paste 2-3 times and rubbing it in circles for half an hour. I highly recommend this product for minor to medium ( in size and depth ) scratches on plastic surfaces
