2018 JL manual transmission Old enough to know better... (should be anyway 48) Pretended to be concerned with muffler clearances off-road... (was unable to hear the engine rpms, most likely due to hearing loss... veteran, military and commercial diver, ineffective use of hearing protection and sun screen = moron) Confirmed suspicions of inadequate clearance upon removal of factory muffler... ( the exhaust pipe bend over the rear axle really does look smashed and over bent but you can also see the circumference increase that was designed in to compensate) Very easy install and everything fit precisely...(The factory muffler is just a pain to try and wrestle off, forget the pry bar and remove the hanger mounts from frame, one bolt) MPG adversely effected... ( sounds so good, honestly inside the vehicle and out... mileage effect is 100% skinny pedal, love hearing the engine!! Great mod, quality, quick shipment.

I installed this on my 2019 Jeep JL Rubicon with the 2L turbo motor. Install is easy,and I'm so happy to be rid of that big muffler with all the flow restrictions in the feed pipe. Sound isn't too bad, either. When warming up the Jeep at high idle it is about as loud as you'll hear it. Once it idles down, noise level is very acceptable to me. Only time I really notice the exhaust note is when I really get on it, and for me, it's nice to hear the reminder I have an engine under the hood.

I am extremely happy with this muffler delete for my Jeep Wrangler. Take that 20 something pound behemoth muffler off and install this tail pipe in its place. Installation was fairly easy. This is what I did. Prop up the muffler with a milk crate and some wood so it doesn't fall on you. Undo the existing exhaust pipe clamp just behind the rear axle. Use a piece of wood to pry the exhaust pipe apart where the clamp was. Remove the two bolts that hold the exhaust pipe hangers, one on each side of the existing muffler. Slide the existing muffler straight out the back. Put the exhaust pipe hanger back on the drivers side. Do not install the exhaust pipe hanger on the passenger side since it is no longer needed. Take the new muffler delete pipe and push onto the end of existing exhaust pipe. Use the exhaust pipe hanger you just installed to support the rear of the new exhaust pipe. Tighten the clamp between the two sections of exhaust pipe. Enjoy the increased sound and performance!!

Was hesitant to install on my 2.0T JLU Sport. Pleasantly surprised by the sound. It’s no V8, but definitely not obnoxious either. Doesn’t sound that much different from stock, which on a 4 Cylinder is a good thing! Install took less than 30 minutes.

Easy install. Took like 20 minutes. Sound is just ok. Kinda rice burner to my ears. But Im used to deep rumbling V8s. The extra clearance is worth it though. That stock pig fart can takes up ALOT of room. There is some drone at 2500 rpms if that sort of thing bugs you. Cant go wrong for less than 100 bucks.

When I first took delivery of this tailpipe, I was concerned with the condition it was in. I don’t know if it was just abused during shipping, or if it left the factory like this, but it was dented, scratched, and filled with metal shavings/dirt. Install was super easy, I just reused a mount from my old exhaust. I’ve now had it on for nearly 2 months and still love the sound. It does get a bit “drone-y” on the highway, but it’s quiet under 2.5k rpm’s.

Easy install and perfect fitment on my '21 JLUR. I did end up removing it and reinstalling the OEM muffler since the end result wasn't exactly what I wanted... But the product itself was fantastic and it fit perfectly upon install.

Nice addition to my jl 2.0. Not loud to me nor do I feel like it drones . Easy enough install.
