Has this been a deterrent for any of you?** A: No **Q: Since it has a key, is it not easily accessible to lock pickers?** A: I jhave never known a lock that can't be picked as locks are a deterent, but if a professional lock picker wants to open a lock they will. The quality of the lock only prolongs time which even thje most complicated locks can be picked withing 3 minutes or less. I us 3 locks for my bike which detares any theive as they go for the easy pickings, I have had two cycles stollen in my life and one was locked so lock you bike a number of times and don't make it easy. The truth is they have these portable grinders now which can go through any lock withing 30 to 40 secs so it not just easy pickings if they really want you bike they will have it so like i said multible locks don't maker it easy. **Q: I lost both keys for the lock, will I be able to get a replacement key?** A: you could always try asking the seller if they can send you another set of keys or you could always try looking for others seller's who might be able to help you but always be careful of who are dealing with whenever buying bike locks from other seller's other than amazon and any other lesser known seller's hope this of help to you ## Frequently Bought Together - Kryptonite Keeper Bike U-Lock Standard with Braided Steel Cable, Heavy Duty Anti-Theft Bicycle U Lock, 12mm Shackle and 10mm x4ft Length Security Cable with Mounting Bracket and Keys,Black - Kryptonite Keeper 785 Bike Chain Lock, 2.8 Feet Long Heavy Duty Anti-Theft Bicycle Chain Lock with Keys for Bike, Motorcycle, Scooter, Bicycle, Door, Gate, Fence - Apple AirTag --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.it/products/98821665-kryptonite-keeper-standard-u-lock](https://www.desertcart.it/products/98821665-kryptonite-keeper-standard-u-lock) --- *Product available on Desertcart Italy* *Store origin: IT* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
