Great little coffee maker. Perfect for single people. Makes 5 big mud worth of coffee per basket. Doesn't need filters, it had a mesh basket in it that'd very easy to clean. It's durable. I've made at leastst 60 pots so fast since I bought it. The lid automatically moves the water dropper arm into place when you close it. It's nice looking and makes hot coffeee.

Inferior in every way to the Black & Decker I have now in the Mr coffee I used to have. But I haven't made coffee in it so that's important. I got it out and compared it it was to be the second one so my husband could use it. There are pictures following but I really don't think you would have the patience to get the pot out from under the filter it sticks because of its design I mean it's doable but irritating and likewise the sprinkler is much smaller so it probably doesn't cover as much of an area and permanently fixed in place you rotated out of the way so it's pretty easy to get the basket in wrong to where you can't rotate it back. I wanted the slightly more modern and slightly smaller footprint to fit it on the same tray with the Black & Decker but I will get another tray. This might really only be three stars. I mean it's cheaper but maybe only by $5? I'm too lazy to go find out the ratio but you can decide for yourself whether it's worth it. The handle of the pot is also thinner and I don't know what all is different in the interior.

Huh, mixed reviews. Well, I have NO issues with this brewer. From start to finish, no issues. --Plug in. --I fill the reservoir to the max (5 cups) with cold water --I add 5 TBS of ground coffee to the filter basket. --Make sure drip is over the coffee --Turn on via simple ON/OFF switch --Brews quickly. --POURING? no problem. Never ever a spill or dribble. EVER. --5 cups fills a couple of mugs. I dont let the coffee sit on the burner as there is no warming option (nor expected one on this size coffee maker). --Filter basket is easy to clean. I tap the spent grounds on side of garbage can, then run the filter under faucet to clear out rest. Easy peasy. Could use a paper filter if that seems complicated. --Maybe make another pot if I need it :), or I store it away until next time. I happen to have a Kcup machine, capsule machine, French press, pour over brewers, a large capacity drip brewer, and this 5 cupper. I dont have everything sitting out. I tend to grab for a kcup or for this small brewer. Just works for me. Glad I bought this. I was in the mood for drip brewed coffee, and didnt want to use my 12 cupper. My old 5 cupper was long gone, so I decided to just order this. At sub $20 I thought it a reasonable purchase. Lately I have only been making drip coffee in this, and it has been wonderful. Nice to use up some bags of coffee that I had been ignoring.

For the price, this is an excellent value. It's attractive, compact, easy to use, practical, and has the features I actually want in an everyday coffee maker. Overall, I'm very happy with it. The clean appearance, sturdy construction, easy-functioning lid, visible water level, reusable filter, convenient Pause N Serve feature, and consistent brewing make this a great little coffee maker. I’ve had this coffee machine for a while now, and I’m very happy with it. It works wonderfully and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Everything is simple and convenient to use, and the machine has been working reliably without any issues. It definitely performs its functions 100% and has become a great addition to my daily routine. Very satisfied with this purchase!

I had a B&D 6 cup and broke the carafe. But replacing it was more than half the cost of a whole new machine. This is sad and probably because the tempered glass is the most expensive part. However, after searching I found the Elite Gourmet that was cheaper and smaller footprint than my B&D and any of the others I saw on Amazon. It had good reviews so I decided to get it. When it arrived everything looked good. I initially ran a pot of water through it and saw how fast it heated up. I was really surprised. I do like that this one has a warmer although I don’t really need it and it’s just one more thing if I forget to turn it off m, that I have to worry about burning. There’s is not safety cut off. But after I brewed the first pot of coffee I noticed that it was really short. My old one would be 1/2 cup off. So if I wanted 3 cups I had to put 3.5 cups of water. But with this one I have to put a full cup more than what is shown on the markers. Either someone doesn’t know how to measure or this thing evaporates a lot of water. See pics. Also the water brewing arm inside gets in the way if you have the pot and brew basket holder inserted at the same time. The little brew stopper spring (that is nice), keep the basket from sitting flush and the lid will not close (see video). You have to hold it down while closing the lid. This is a pain. It’s not a deal breaker but definitely loses a star. This is a $12 coffee pot at best. Not a $23 one. More thought and engineering should have went in to its design. Not sure about longevity, but we shall see.

I like the fact that it has nothing digital on it and a reusable filter basket. A simple small coffee maker with an on off switch. I have it plugged into a smart plug and can tell it to start as soon as I wake up. Makes 2 mugs of coffee.
