Sika Blue Grit Extra Grip Plaster Bonding Agent, Blue, 5 Litre

My husband says this is brilliant. He is a builder and used this on a cealing that was in terrible condition. But the customer was not able to afford the cost of a replacement cealing. So my husband said he would try this stuff. The customer agreed. WOW.. FABULOUS. It covered every crack and was able to paint over with ease. He left it to dry for 3 days then painted over. This product is amazing. He would highly recommend this if you just want to cover up bad walls and ceilings and apply the paint afterwards but definitely leave to dry for 3 days to get the best results.

Good stuff but is messy so make sure you use a dust Matt with other protection as well.

Whoever is selling this needs to package it up better or use a different courier service. Box slightly damaged but inside all contents leaked out into plastic wrapping. Having to send back. Blue Grit itself is an excellent product before skimming a wall or tiling.

Everbuild 5029347608910 Blue Grit, this stuff is great to prepare a wall before skimming and plasterering, I work in construction and this stuff seems to be used all the time to give that gauranteed adhesion. Must be applied 24hours before any plastering is attempted. Beware this stuff is messy as hell, I can't help but stress this point! Wear crappy clothes, shoes and cover your flooring as the gritty particles go everwhere. I bought a huge dust sheet off Amazon sold and dispatched directly by them which was so big, but I trimmed to cover my 3metre by 3metre room. Overall I got a 10 Litre tub for the price of a 5 Litre tub so great value for money, ahesion of this product the next day was great, the blue grit is thick and needs a good stirring beforehand the consistency stays similar but just ensures the gritty particles are well mixed with the sealant. I used a roller to apply this product working slowly with smaller roll actions used. Otherwise with longer strokes bits sprinkle at a even Greater rate.

Blue grit is an excellent product But it arrived in 2 boxes the inside box marked this way up was on its side and product had leaked everywhere 100%great product badly packaged Best buy locally

I was recommended this stuff to use for plastering a wall in the bathroom. It's been months and so far everything's holding well. It's easy to work with, just paint it on it's easy to see where you've applied and how much too due to the blue colouring. Dries well and changes shade as it dries so you can see when it's ready to plaster over.
