Fixed problem of engine turning off after 5 to 15 minutes of driving and not starting until cooled.
I was hesitant at first as I spent $1500.00 trying to get my son’s Jeep running. When we thought we had it fixed according to the mechanic, the Jeep stalled again leaving him and his family stranded on the roadside. Finally I said enough is enough with this piece of junk and let me get the computer to see if this solve the problem and if it doesn’t we will junk this freaking problem. Thank GOD, this computer solved the problem. I was so sick and tired of spending money on his Jeep, especially when all it does it depreciate.

It worked perfectly, but after 6 months it failed.
Updated review, after 6 months and less then 1500 miles my Jeep started stalling and my ONB scan tool shows readiness for smog test fails. Same issues I had with the original PCM. Is there a warranty? I need to pass California smog in a month, can Cardone do an exchange? As of now I do not recommend this product. Hope Cardone responds. I spent years attempting to rebuild / resolder my 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee ECM. Each time it would repair a stalling issue for about 1 year. I finally bought this remanufactured Cardone unit and so far so good. I'll report back in 1 year. For $80 after rebate it cant be beat. My Jeep actually runs better then it has in years. Also the odometer stayed the same and no flashing needed. Plug and play so happy as of now.

Great product and with core purchase better price than tracking junk yards or dealer inventory. I was going crazy trying to replace heater resistor,shorter screws, zip ties on ecm hookup wires. You must make sure you have very good battery connections and good ground. This is great product simple plug-in and go. It is preprogrammed and worked perfectly. Cardone makes great product and with Amazon service--the best!

Plug and play
This product worked first time out of the box. It was a plug and play event. It did take a few minutes of run time to tune in on the engine. I would buy this again.

Mi camioneta siguió con la misma falla que hacia de apagarse y me dice el mecánico que la computadora esta defectuosa

A mi ZJ 97 4.0 si prendió la camioneta muy bien pero empezó a fallar el tablero se apagaba y no cargaba la pila cuando aceleraba. no es compatible con la mia.
