Excellent. Love the human anatomy vinyls - legit!

Stereophonic inside and out. Epic album. Great presentation.

Looks fantastic. As far as sound quality goes, I prefer not to hear pops and crackles in my music, so I listen to CDs. But to hang on the wall? Oh yeah.

I've never listened to Tool before this album, and I can't believe I've been missing out on this genius for so long. I typically listen more to 70s prog bands such as Rush or Pink Floyd, so I wasn't aware of Tool until a friend recommended I check out this album. I was not disappointed! Each of the main epics on this album are meticulously composed with masterful lyrics (though I wasn't a fan of Leeches much, but I know others like it). This album also has some of the most creative packaging I have seen in a CD, with a clear plastic insert that allows you to peel back layers of the guy on the cover. Overall, and awesome package!

All Tool.

This is such a cool album. The Alex Grey art on each side of the vinyls is worth the price alone. The music is amazing. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that due to the art, the grooves in the vinyl are quite shallow and the printing is not quite centered so it flanges a bit when playing. But it’s a collectors piece nonetheless.

I bought by mistake in Amazon a copy on march 2024 ( it look so familiar because I had an old copy from 2003).Back in those days a bought and read about new music on the marketing and I like progresive a lot,the thing is that I bought a lot of cd recordings using back then High Definition CD (HDCD) technology and my preamps and media players has this decoding tech.That how I end up with my first copy and it sounded very good,but I put the disc away and went to get others cd's, forgot that I have it.After all this years hearing TOOL in my Spotify ,bought a secundaria copy of it and now hearing it ,l fine it very excellent, in the league of my Absentia DVD AUDIO,and other super recordings. Recoment this CD version and if you use it with HDCD ,better. ENJOY.

Riacquistato dopo tanti anni perché avevo perso il CD originale, comprato quando uscì l'album nel 2001. Questo Lateralus è probabilmente il loro vertice pur all'interno di una discografia di elevatissimo livello artistico. Il percorso di blues acido e potente iniziato con Opiate, continuato in parte con Undertow e poi abbandonato con Aenima in favore di un progressive metal aggiornato agli anni 2000, qui raggiunge un apice non più quagliato con 10000 Days e Fear Inoculum. Possiamo parlare di un post progressive metal con interessanti influenze primordiali, ora di ritmica tribale ora di rituale religioso, comunque sia di musica ricondotta a usanze antichissime. Insomma ambizioni artistiche altissime e risultato in gran parte raggiunto, con la forma canzone qui stravolta in composizioni molto lunghe e articolare, potenti e compiute. Un album da ascoltare per uscire dal piattume e mediocrità della proposta musicale attuale.

El álbum en sí es un masterpiece. Hablando específicamente del artículo, el empaque, el arte, el picture disc, todo es hermoso, pero es una lástima que como ya muchos han mencionado, ambas ediciones que han lanzado de este vinilo son bastante malas, en el tema de que tiene mucho skipping, aunque se escucha bastante bien, al menos las partes donde no se salta jaja. PS: Excelente servicio en la entrega por parte de Amazon, llegó al día siguiente que lo pedí.
