This is a fantastic book for all of those with hooded eyes! This book is very well written, with great photos and easy-to-follow instructions and explanations. It also has guides for brushes, and talks about blending techniques and related products (mascaras, falsies, correcting strips, etc.). The looks are all very pretty, with something for almost everyone. This makes a great gift for the makeup enthusiast or hooded-eye beauty in your life!

The Hooded Eyes Makeup Manual is a phenomenal resource for the makeup novice to the seasoned professional and everyone in between! I have hooded eyes and they have been a challenge for me since I started wearing makeup 25 years ago. This is truly a comprehensive guide which includes basic anatomy and definitions, brush choices, application techniques, and much more. The tutorials are clear and concise. Stunning photographs feature throughout. I originally bought this as a gift for my sister and planned to kind of share it. After seeing it in person, I just went ahead and ordered my own copy. It is a fantastic resource for anyone, even if you don't have hooded eyes 😎

This book gave me some good tips that everyone, not just people with hooded eyes, can use. The makeup descriptions used are great for finding shades in your own makeup collection to use to try the various looks.

A great book!! I finally learned how to do a smokey eye look!! I'm so excited to try more of the looks that were put together for the book by Courtney. The looks are easy to duplicate and broken down step by step! I've already picked up several tips that will change my makeup routine for the better! Thanks again for the great tips and book!!
