Cat Scratching Post with Self Groomer for Indoor Cats & Kittens, Small (16.5" H), Beige

This is perfect size for my cat, he is a 2 year old male but always been a bit on the smaller side. He can tug on this and it won’t tip over. This also took less than 5 minutes to assemble. It didn’t take long for him to figure out the bristle feature either. I thought it might take awhile because he has never had one of those only regular scratchers, but we found him rubbing on it later that day. So yeah a normal one of these scratchers is around $20 at the store sometimes more than that and they typically are just the scratch post, this one is good value because it has two features for your kitty to enjoy. I suggest getting this and getting another cardboard plank scratcher for one single cat, if I only had this scratch post for him he would probably tear through it pretty fast but give your kitty at least one other scratch plank and this will make this scratch post last way longer. Also, I trim my cats nails as needed. My cat runs to his post whenever my boyfriend gets home and gets ready to feed him. Cats need to scratch for exercising muscles, letting out energy/excitement and I actually just read it’s a way for them to mark territory. My cat doesn’t really scratch on our furniture, never has. He has always had 2-3 items of his own he can scratch on.

My cat loved this when he was a baby! I upgraded him when he got too big but to make it last longer we took the scratching part and screwed it onto the top of the brush. It was very well loved and great for the price.

The directions are easy to follow. And puts together fast. Would recommend for any kitty that loves to scratch. My only negative is the toppers come off easily.

Best BUY for a new kitten!!! This was affordable and our kitten scratches it EVERYDAY!! Of course, she gets a treat after she does 🤪 but that’s the point right? Better that she uses the post than the furniture! Great quality; it’s sturdy (she likes to jump on the top) and the ball has been attacked way too many times now! Was actually gonna buy another one to keep near another couch, but we opted for a larger kitty condo…BUT this is hand downs a MUST for a new kitten in the house!

I think this cat scratcher would’ve been good if it was covered at the base with carpeting instead of just fabric. My cats ripped the fabric on the base of it within two days.

My kitten loves it, even though she still scratches the sofa, this scratch pad really helps

Der Kauf war mein Fehler. Mein Kater ist viel zu groß für das Teil. Er benutzt zwar den Kratzer aber nur am Deckel. Den Fellkratzer hat er noch nie benutzt. Was nichts heißen will, denn mein Liebling ist ein bisschen doof. Durch seine große Kraft schiebt er das Teil, beim kratzen, durch die Wohnung. Die Platte sollte etwas schwerer sein.

Was a staple of our living room for the first couple years of us having my little guy. He eventually outgrew it and needed a taller scratch post, and never really took to the brush, but it did its time and served its purpose well. Withstood a lot of abuse. Eventually it did start to fray and fall apart, but only after being used heavily, daily for multiple years.
