I can pull it over my head and leave it on the back of my chair when I have to get up. No one even knows its heated. The only thing is the heated part is only on the back and not on the shoulders or front. However It is still perfect and warm even when not plugged in. Received a replacement and it stopped working after about two weeks. Blanket used at work being charged by laptop. When it worked was fairly warm but better than nothing.
