If you mount it on the right side of the column, the markings will be upside down. That won't keep it from working, however. **Q: does this work with a 2005 ford ranger 3.0 automatic?** A: Not sure. I returned the product because it was not compatible with the 2006 Ford F-150 I was driving. I want to say it's not compatible with the 2005 either. All you need to do is take it to the dealership and have them turn it on in the computer after simply putting the switches on the steering wheel. I did that with the 2006 I was driving and I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner. **Q: does this work with nissan kicks 2018?** A: Most likely, yes.
