It has a solid, substantial, tight feel to it, and installation was smooth and straightforward on my standard thickness granite counters. The quick connect fitting provided to hook the water line up to the faucet was particularly appreciated. The only tools you'll need for installation are either a basin wrench, or an 11/16 deep well socket for your ratchet. Either one will do. (If you have an existing faucet to remove, you may need something else for that part of the job, depending on the make and model)Once I got it hooked up, I was very pleased with the operation of the faucet and the flow it provided. Thankfully, that review mentioned using a basin wrench which was exactly what I needed. My biggest problem was removing the old faucet. I had to use a hacksaw. Once that was done, everything fit into place perfectly. The look and feel of this faucet is ideal. The flow of water is stronger than my old faucet. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.
