## Description

Compact and fanless Mini-ITX motherboard with plenty of storage options!

Review: Beat all my expectations... - Note: This board is a Mini-ITX board not an ATX board. I tried to get desertcart to correct it but they refused. I am very impressed by this little board. I used this board as the basis for my Windows Media Center PC and it has been running smoothly for about a month now. Here are a few highlights. * It supports surround sound. I have it hooked up to my 5.1 receiver via the optical out and it sounds good. * It has SATA connections for up to 4 drives. With this many SATA ports it would also make a great DIY NAS. * It has a quad core Intel Bay Trail processor with a fanless heatsink that uses very little power (10w max TDP) compared to other x86 processors. * With the Cooler Master Elite 110 case and Silverstone STX 300W power supply it runs nearly silent. * The Intel graphics supports play back on my 60" 1080p TV just fine. No additional graphics card needed. * I was skeptical about the CPU performance but it can simultaneously run 4 Full HD recordings, watch youtube, and playback an HD stream on a media center extender and they all look great. Plus it still has CPU cycles to burn. * Used it, an Xbox controller, and Steam In-Home Streaming to stream games from the gaming PC in my office to the big 60" TV in my family room and it worked great despite being connected over wifi. Given all the capabilities, the price of this board, which includes the CPU, is spectacular. It cost me more for the 8GB of DDR3 1600 memory I put into the board. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to build a quiet, low power, HTPC/Media Center PC or NAS.
Review: Great so Far - It's working great so far. It blows away the original motherboard in my low-end HP Pavilion. 1080P videos present no problems (my old MB struggled with most videos). Don't make the same mistake I did if you're assuming it's a drop-in replacement for a Mini-ITX HP motherboard. The only "drop-in" feature was that it fit my case perfectly. I wasn't paying attention to the power supply requirements, and I assumed I could use the same laptop-style power brick that the original Pavilion board used, as well as my DIMMs. I was WRONG and had to buy a power supply adapter, 12V DC power brick (with a power pin that didn't fit the adapter well), SATA power cables, and a new soDIMM. This was all due to my lack of research. PAY ATTENTION to the desertcart "Frequently bought together" links. Anyway, this seems to be a great board with great on-board audio and video capabilities. I was delighted that my case power switch and fan worked properly after all my bungling with the power supply. The graphics cache when scrolling Google images or when using my Router setup screens seems a little strange; you get white screens followed by a sudden refresh. I haven't even looked at the BIOS settings yet, so there could be something there I could change. Also, I'm not sure if "sleep" amounts to "hibernation" with my case/SSD, so there are short delays coming back from sleep sometimes. That could be a Windows 10 issue. The other cool thing was that I booted up Windows 10 after changing the MBoard, and it worked almost immediately. There was a tiny bit of "new device" configuration, but not much at all. I probably should have done a new OS installation, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Little, nice, full featured mother board
*by S***N on March 27, 2015*

I spent a couple of months searching for the perfect mobo to fit my needs. A combo CPU GPU mobo with enough power to play 1080 hd vids, 4 cores, hdmi and dvi, at least 4 satas, sata II and III. Mini itx an so on, because i was upgrading, I wanted to use the same case, PSU. The first brand i had in mind was Asus, but when i found this Asrock 1900 itx, i inmediatly bougth it with no dude. Not only it has those specs, but also accepts 1.35 and 1.5 volts sodimms sticks. So i installed a memory and a mini pci wifi module i had from an old crashed screen laptop. This is a quality mobo, works smoothly with no compatibility isues. The usb headers, from audio panels header a power headers from the old case worked fine, but just changing carefully the positions of some wires. If you want a pc for general use or an excellent htpc this is one of the best options
