I can hardly find anything poor to say about it. It's very heavy, dense wood that seems like it's going to hold up for a very long time. It also assembles like a dream.A word to the wise about staining, however. Having never worked with rubberwood before, I chose a stain a shade darker than my dining room table expecting that the grain would reject some of it due to small pores like other dense hardwoods. To my surprise, it lapped up every bit of it beautifully. That means my bench is now a slight mismatch for the set I bought, which is a bummer. Not the bench's fault, though.
