Bright Sewing Strip Light with Touch Dimmer Cold White 6500K

I like this light a lot but it was longer than I had room for on my machine. I really appreciate the illumination.

My studio is pretty dark so I have a lot of various lamps set up around my work area. But this still wasn't enough for sewing all the black fabrics I work with. As soon as I saw these lights I had to order them for myself. You stick tiny plastic brackets where you want the strip to adhere, peel off the paper backing, and stick them on. In the month I've used these lights (a whole lot) about half of the brackets have started coming off of my machine, but I'll probably just put a small drop of hot glue on them to keep them in place. These lights are worth rigging. As for the light itself, WOW! It's so bright!! I can see all my tiny stitching in the deepest of black fabrics. You hear people say they don't know how they got by without a certain product, but for real, this has made my sewing so much easier that I never again want to be without a strip of lights like these.

For such a tiny light it really helps me see the area under the machine throat. Very bright nice LED light strip. I can see the needle eye to thread it much better now.

I have done woodworking for years and I always seemed to be mounting large overhead lights in the ceiling above all my saws and other power tools hoping those lights would help me see better, but after working with those power tools and sawdust all over the inside as well as in the air, I could not see very well until the dust cloud settled so I could see what I was doing. I installed this light on my Radial arm saw just above the track part of the saw so I could see more of what I was doing without having to stop and wait till the lights in my shop were bright enough for me to see the board I was cutting. This light where I installed it works Really Well and I have ordered several more to mount anywhere above the tools I am using while I am working so I could see better and not spend too much time trying to see better and anyone who is in woodworking knows that down time doesn’t make them any money while standing around waiting for the light to be bright enough to see. I really like these lights and they have saved me from a lot of down time after I installed them all over my shop on the tools I use most everyday!

Found the original one on a facebook ad and here on Amazon it was much much cheaper. After reading reviews about it not sticking, I still thought I would give it a whirl. So happy I did! Mine stuck like Chuck! The little light switch-on is awesome. You don't have to press hard at all. Just lightly touch it and it comes on or off. My Mom was pushing the crap out of hers but that is not needed. The sensor is great on it. If you are an older aged seamstress like me that is also blind as a bat, well worth the money! Bought for all the ladies in my sewing circle and they were a hit ! I am a real shopper not a "paid to try then leave feedback" person.

I was a little disappointed that the lights need to remain plugged in to work. I didn’t pay attention when ordering that it’s not chargeable. However, otherwise it’s good.
