RGEEK 2022 Update Original Part Replacement Right and Left Slide Rail with Ribbon Flex Cable Replacement Part for Nintendo Switch Joycon Accessories Parts

I got this a day ago because my right rail was junk. Changed in 10 minutes and it's been fine since. Will order again when I need them. I read people saying it had a much harder and louder "click". Mine does not, only thing I noticed is it was a little rough to slide the very first time I put it on, kinda like trying to slide without being greased or something. It hasn't done it again. Went away very fast since I only changed it last night.

Easy install, after following a diy video. Holds the controllers well. Highly recommend. Will buy again if ever needed.

Great replacement part

I had accidently cut the ribbon cable when I changed the battery on a switch that was given to me and it wouldn't charge or allow me to use the controller at all (OEM or aftermarket). I replaced with this and now the controller works. Still can't use the OEM controllers or charge them, but I think that is an issue with the controllers themselves. The aftermarket ones are working fine now

As you can see, the original ones were NOT IT. The connectors themselves were rusted/corroded from water damage and old age. The replacement held the joycons sternly and I never had more connection errors. So why 4 stars?? Well, like most products nowadays, the switch had proprietary triangular screws. I ordered this one for its speed on shipment compared to the others that bring the screw driver with it. The product itself worked amazing but WARNING you NEED the specific screwdriver to install these. Other than that there’s not much to it I mean the packaging was standard and the quality was new; I recommend this one if you have the screwdriver already!!

The first one I got was stuck in the down position, but I had installed it after the return policy ran out. When I emailed the supplier, they sent me two more of them free! Anytime I have problems with any controllers from now on, I’m going through the supplier, they’re amazing. The joystick itself is easy to install, there are plenty of good instructions on the Internet, and it’s the best priced one out there.

The parts are here, awesome but it takes a spicslckind of small tool to get it on the switch. Have to buy separately

Easy to install. Works great. Just like the old parts were never broken.

Tools and patience are essential. I bought two, the first one constantly drifted left even after doing a calibration. The second works ok. It’s not the same quality of the stock joystick. It feels noticeably cheaper and different on movement and feel.

had the same problem as jak, installed the new stick and it already had a downward drift. had repaired other controllers previously with sticks I bought elsewhere and they still work just fine a year later. pretty disappointed, will have to order again somewhere else.

Originally I bought two Joy-Con stick replacements because two of my Joy-Cons had Joy-con drift. I replaced them both and one worked perfectly but the other was still drifting (not as bad as before). Luckily OwlTree had reached out asking for feedback on their product. When I told them one was still drifting they were quick to respond back letting me know I could order a new one and they would refund me the amount. The new one I ordered worked amazingly. My Joy-Cons no longer have drift! I must have been a little unlucky getting one that may have had a defect in my original order, but once I got the new one both of have worked great with no issues.

This stick didn't have any drift right out of the box; I didn't even have to calibrate it in the Joy-Con I put it in. Installation difficulty obviously varies with your skills and tools, but I have no complaints about these.
