Nice teaching aide but a little frustrating (good/bad)
I used to pick locks a lot and wanted to teach it as a useful skill to my daughter after she saw me doing it to unlock some windows I no longer have the keys for. Naturally having a clear body allows for explanation and also to see what a set or bound pin looks like instead of just feeling and guessing. I cannot stress how useful this is and really wish I had a see-through lock when I was first learning how to pick, knowing what actually should feel right/wrong is important. Having a double ended lock allows for double the practice, so this is also a big bonus. I will say that whilst I know my skills are a little rusty after a few years I found these locks to be rather frustrating to open. There are no security measure pins like mushrooms/serrated but I really did struggle to get them open. I went back and tested a few of the locks I used to practice on that do actually have counter-picking measures and opened them with relative ease. I enjoy picking these locks nonetheless but if you get one like mine you may need to actually work a fair bit harder than a standard cheapo Yale style lock to get it to open due to a little slop in the manufacturing (it happens with a lot of cheaper locks) that causes it to bind and need a little counter-rotation to finish it up. Maybe it's just mine but either way don't beat yourself up if it takes a while to get it.

Took this out of the box, put the key in, and all of the springs & pins fell on the floor! Completely useless.
