Great soft bottle for backpacking/camping (2-pack blue)
These bladder-style bottles are excellent for saving space while out and about. Initially I was slightly hesitant of this style water bottle, but am very happy with this purchase. These are soft plastic, so there is inherently a slight scent and slight taste, but I have not noticed any extreme or unusual taste when drinking from them (your tastebuds May be different than mine). As you can see in the picture, even when squeezing the bottle, it does not leak; nor does it leak when shaken upside down. When empty, they flatten out, only leaving the very top and cap as the bulkiest part (which does not take up much space at all). You’re also able to roll the bottle from the bottom, which will allow you to put these into a smaller pocket - or leave flattened to store in a larger pocket without taking up any room. If I were to offer a suggestion for the manufacture, I would ask them to have the threads comparable with a filter (such as a Sawyer Mini); however, this is not a defect of this water bottle, it is only my personal opinion. Cleaning tip: washing is extremely easy - soap and water, but the opening is only 7/8” I/D. To help dry, try rolling up a paper towel, and insert that into the empty bladder. Leave the top of the paper towel sticking out so it won’t get stuck. I highly recommend washing before using! Since I just received them, and only been able to use these for a couple days, I do not have any durability notes. I will update in a couple months after putting these through more tests.

Frequently leak
I have four of these. They would be perfect if they didn’t often leak around the cap.

Just the right size
Although the original taste was off-putting I am still glad I kept these. They don't leak from the top and easy to slip in a back pocket. Small and easy to carry was what I needed and these worked perfectly. It did take awhile for the icky taste to fade...

Fits flip belt
I got this to use on longer runs with my flip best since I hate holding anything while I run. It’s a bit awkward to shove into the flip belt slot when it’s full, but fits well once you get it in there. Taking it out to drink is easy but then you have to roll it to squeeze the water into a smaller space and shove it back in the belt. This is hard to do while running. So, it’s fine for free runs or training but def won’t use during a race. Washing and drying is easy. I didn’t experience weird smells or tastes like other May have said.

Fits in my Flipbelt
I have been searching for a collapsible bottle to fit in my flipbelt! This does! I filled the bottle half way up and froze it the night before, and filled it up the rest of the way with water before my morning run. Unlike the plastic bottles that Flipbelt makes, these bottles didn't produce any "swooshing" noises when I was running. I had it resting on my lower back in my belt, and it did not cause any discomfort. In fact, since I froze it the night before, the coolness of the bottle felt fantastic! It didn't make me cold, but it produced just a nice cooling sensation. The ice eventually thawed, and my water was cool at the end of my 5 mile run.

Solid replacement
Had the osprey version for the REI TT Swiftland running pack. These have a thicker plastic and fit less water, but are solid replacements. Took it for trail runs / hikes around the white mountains and zion/bryce canyon for a few months. No noticeable leakage but a little harder to bite. Of course, these are half or a quarter of the price of the osprey model.

Exactly what I expected, exactly what I needed
These are perfect if you need a flexible flask that collapses when used. Value stays closed inside cooler and backpack. Always packed them on top so I don't know what would happen if under something heavier. All in all, worked great.

Items as described. Good value. The only drawback is the bite valve is hard and doesn't let quite enough water out for me. I can deal so still good value.
