The paint itself was perfect. I ordered 2 cans. It was really weird that the paint didn't come out at first. Fortunately I turned the can upside down in an inverted position and was able to spray the paint. Not so sure I should give it a 4 star rating but the end result was very good. Fir the price I expect it to be 100% usable as intended. Definitely a need for quality control. I'll be buying from a different supplier next time.

My first time to do something like this. The video was very helpful. My result was better than I expected. Beautiful job. Follow the video closely and you will have excellent results. I am anxious to see how it lasts. Nice paint. Good match.

Better than what you can get at the big box stores. Hard glossy deep black finish.

Refinished alpha one drive with quicksilver primer and phantom black. Also applied spray max 2k as topcoat which made finish very hard and does not even scratch with fingernail. This was a great way to finish because now the drive is very durable and should last longer than the factory coating. I will be finishing the rest of the parts the same way so that I get years of a great looking Outdrive without purchasing a new one. I also used an aluminum primer on the areas that were down to bare metal. Quicksilver primer and topcoat both work great and had no issues with either of them. Definitely a great way to up update a worn looking out drive with a little effort. I do recommend going with the harder Clearcoat so that the finish is hard and can withstand the elements.
