You select the correct size fot the wire and put it in the jaws and crimp the metal end only. Each wire the.ln become very sturdy and and makes fitting wires in awkward positions a doddle. Very easy to use 100% recommend and you have enough for a lifetime of DIY use.

A: I don't think so. It's just for cable lugs

A: Yes, it will take them depending on the size of cable and ferrule, I use them mainly for wiring plugs which makes for a much neater job and greater contact

I was a bit wary of buying these, I’ve brought stuff from Amazon before only to find it cheap Chinese nick off copies that don’t even work. This was relatively cheap and they work just fine for what I need. Obviously not as sturdy as known brands but they are fine for diy use.
